Levi, the little green cheek that had splay leg and is now about 6 months old, flew into a nest box and attacked two baby cockatiels that just hatched. He threw them from the nest box. One did not survive but the other one is sure trying! When I found him, he was ice cold on the floor, purple and had been bleeding. Here are a few pictures of him by a quarter about 14 hours after I found him. It's hard to believe he has actually doubled in size and he is passing the old blood from his injuries in his crop and abdomen! He started out eating about every 10-15 minutes just tiny drops. We are up to about every hour to hour and a half taking about 3 drops of formula at a time. Here are a few pictures of him. One in his incubator and oxygen. I’m afraid to go to sleep because we are making progress. Luckily I’m working today so that certainly will keep me awake. I have an hourly alarm going off to remind me to feed him.

What should we name this baby?

A very kind customer brought apples to Feathers and Fur to share with everyone! They are delicious and not sprayed! We need to get them homes as they will not last long!

Apache got his wrap off yesterday! He spent the whole day preening each and every feather that was under the wrap.

He is still on lockdown for the next few weeks and we are waiting to see how well the wing healed but we are making progress!! ❤️

Happy Saturday! This is a post from my dear friends that are in a terrible bind. I wonder if anyone can offer any advice or help? These are people who have dedicated their lives to helping others. I'm hoping to return the favor. What a mess this is! Thank you so much, everyone.

Asking for help and advice.

On April 29, this year we wired a significant sum of money from our Wells Fargo account to a family member’s Chase account. By mistake, the Chase account number we used was off by a single digit. We discovered that the wrong account number to which the money was wired at Chase does not exist, so nobody has received the money.

Within a few days, we called the Wells Fargo wire department to correct this mistake but the bank said they needed to go through fraud and it would take 10 days, then 30 days then… we’re still waiting.

Wells Fargo, however, did confirm there was no fraud just an honest mistake. Now, Wells Fargo says they have requested a return of the money five times from Chase.

We’ve spent over 30 hours on the phone and at our bank in person but have met with absolutely no help on getting our funds returned. Both Wells Fargo and Chase have sent our cases which they first called complaints, then cases now called escalated complaints to their executive branches.

However, no one has returned our money which apparently sits in a Chase general ledger account that nobody can identify. No one can say where the money is

Has anyone had this experience and can offer advice?

We’d appreciate any help and advice in this matter.
