Well it's official. We will be closing in the end of July. I am very very sorry for any strife this causes anyone as there is a groomer shortage.

If I continue to groom in anyway (at home or in another location) I will update here and my voicemail as well. But right now I don't have any plans to continue grooming past the end of July.

Destanie will be grooming from home so she is still an option as a groomer.

I will miss all my clients and am very sad about this but at this moment in time I have no other option. I hope to groom again someday and hope to see you all again.

Hello all, I have to let you all know the possible sad news. When August hits there is a good chance we will have to close. A groomer here in the shop is losing child care in July and I will also not have constant child care in August and would only be able to work a few days a week. Between losing a groomer and only being able to work a few days a week I can not afford to keep the shop open.

Basically if the groomer can find cheap or free child care or we find another groomer we will stay open. But if not, it simply isn't possible. So at this time I can not make appointments for August or after.

Hello everyone I am starting a new scheduling system on an app so I can send text reminders the day before.

That being said I have a new no call no show policy as well. Half the price of the groom you missed will be due at the time of the next appointment.

I hope you all understand that when you don't show up for an appointment that is a loss of income for me, especially when I am unable to call in another dog with enough time to get them done before the next dog. And with working only part time for now it's not fair to clients who would have made the appointment. I am doing my best to squeeze everyone in.

Would anyone be interested in evening appointments? At like 6 pm? Probably only one appointment a night since most appointments take me two hours. I am trying to figure out a good way to fit more clients in with out having to pay for child care yet.

Hey y'all! I am going to be returning to work very slowly. The next few months I will be working part time and only taking a few dogs a day at first and slowly adding more.

Hey everyone! As of today I am officially on maternity leave. I am aiming to come back late summer/early fall but it's not a set in stone time.
I just want to take a moment to thank all my clients for their support. You have all been amazing to work with and I love getting to know your dogs! Thank you so much for all the well wishes and those of you who gave me gifts. It really made me feel so loved 💜. I will miss you all while I am gone.

Most of you know this but I am reiterating :

Hey everyone! Just wanted to give a gentle reminder that I am pregnant and groom times are officially starting to slow down. So I might have your pup(s) longer then usual. Please know they are still getting the best care I can give them. If this doesn't work for you that's totally fine and you are more then welcome to find a faster groomer. No hard feelings at all.
Also a reminder that am going on maternity leave at the end of February. February 25th will be my last day for a time, and I am not taking many dogs in the month of February. So please book asap if you want a groom or bath in February. I will still take nail trims also.

My shop will still be open while I am gone. I have two groomers renting spaces from me who can help take on some of my clients. Feel free to get in contact with me for their info.

I am not sure how long I will be gone, guessing 6 months. But I do plan on coming back to the same location.

Hello everyone! Some exciting news and then some not so great news.

I am pregnant with a high risk pregnancy and so I am working slower and taking a couple less dogs a day. On top of that, I will be gone on maternity leave in February and don't know how long I will be gone. Coincidentally this is also when my lease is up on the building. I have not fully decided if I will try to keep the building or move and work from home when I come back.

I am trying to give everyone as much of a warning as possible, cause I do not have employees or someone to take over my clients while I am gone. I am very very sorry about that.

I am sorry for any hardship this may cause as I know groomers are hard to find right now. And I will be happy to let all my clients know when I am back to work.

Baby Rune wanted you remind everyone to prebook appointments or book them ahead of time. I am booking out a month at least. Except for JUST bath dogs. I now have some help and am able to take in more bath dogs. This can include dogs who need mild paw trimming but no haircuts. (All haircuts are still a month out) I will be overseeing each one still and making sure it gets same love and care your baby would get in my hands.

As many of you have noticed my new location is big! So I have room to add another like minded groomer. So if you are someone interested please feel free to message me.
Things to note.
New groomer will not be an employee but will be a independent contractor with their own business lisence, insurance, get to make their own hours ect. Much like Morgan who is already here Saddle Rock Pet Services
My clients will stay my clients. New groomer would be responsible for bringing in their own clients or get share of new clients that walk in the door that aren't looking for a specific groomer.
We are still under construction and improving all the time and are not in a huge rush to get someone in here.
We are flexible and friendly about a lot of things. New groomer absolutely must treat pets and people with respect.

Sorry we can not take on any bathers, cleaners or train anyone at this time.

Hello everyone! Just wanted to let everyone know I am already booked through March and booking into April. I am currently working 5 days a week instead of my usual 4. I am doing my best to get everyone in but can't over work or over book myself or my grooms will not be as good and your pup's won't get the care they are used to. Hello everyone! Please continue to stay patient with me! I am still having to reschedule appointments as we have hit some road bumps while trying to open up. So that also means that I am unable to make any new appointments yet until I get all the rescheduled appointments taken care of. Once we do open I will be working nights and weekends for a while playing catch up! I have an ever growing list of people to get a hold of for appointments as as soon as I can! Big news! I am moving! I am opening my own salon! Don't worry, I am staying in Selah. New address is 11 North 1st Street, Selah Wa 98942. Pink building across from the dance studio. I am so very very excited to start this journey and see where it takes me and who I will get to meet along the way.

Robin will be staying in her salon and giving the same wonderful services to her client's. I am so thankful that a year and a half ago she gave me the chance to work in my town and start gathering my own clients. She taught me things that my formal training did not. It is just time for me to follow my dreams and spread my wings. I hope we can continue to work together to make every dog in Selah beautiful and comfortable.

I love my job so much. Dog grooming has given my life meaning I never knew I would have. I love to get to know my clients and how to make each dog most comfortable. I love that every groom is different and a new task. Even on bad days I can't stay upset with a job like this. Some days I'm so tired I fall asleep as soon as I get home. Some days my back hurts so bad I could cry. But I wouldn't give it up for anything. I love making all of you and your pup's as happy as I can.

This year as I open my own salon, joined by my friend, I hope to find another groomer or two to join us who has good values. I plan to further my education this year and keep upgrading the salon as I go.
