It has been almost a year since we lost our beloved kitty, Artemis. Although we can never replace him in our hearts there was a void in the clinic that needed filling. And we did fill it, with a void.
This is Stimpson "Stimpy" J. Cat.
He first arrived towards the end of last July, shortly after Arti's passing. He was brought in by an overwhelmed client who had waaaayy too many feral cats requesting he be humanely euthanized due to being injured and feral. We immediately discovered he was not feral and his injuries could be repaired but the person did not have the means to care for him. We did however spay/neuter a few other cats they had. We agreed to foster until a rescue opportunity came up for him. He was covered in scratches and bites in various forms of healing but most concerning was his tail. There was about 2 inches left of it 🤢. The very end of it had bone exposed. No one but Stimpy knows what happened. He had to have the remainder of it amputated. Once he healed, we couldn't part with him and he quickly made himself at home. He LOOVVEESS attention from people, children, and most dogs. He will confidently walk up to a dog and try to rub himself on them, we are working on him to NOT do that for his safety. Other cats, not as much. His favorite hobbies are food, sleeping, and licking people for as long as they stay still. Welcome to the AMC family, Stimpy
