Love a good road trip (even a mini one)? Why not put your driving skills to the test by helping AAHA Rescue pups get to their vet appointments? It’s a small act of kindness that makes a HUGE difference for our rescue dogs!

What does it involve?
🐕 Picking up or dropping off dogs at the vet.
🚗 Providing a safe, comfy ride for our furry friends.
⏰ Flexible scheduling—transport when you have time!

Why it matters:
Our dogs rely on regular vet care to stay healthy and happy, but arranging transportation can be a challenge. By volunteering as a pet chauffeur, you’re helping us ensure every pup gets the care they deserve.

Bonus: You’ll get to meet some of the sweetest faces around and maybe even hear a bark of appreciation along the way!

Our sweet Humphrey is still waiting for someone to take a chance on him. Just look at his fantastic grin!

This 12-year-old hound mix is nervous but has a tender demeanor. With the right amount of patience and love, he would complete someone's family. He is currently in foster care and hopes for a forever family soon. Please reach out to us to meet this sweet boy.

Sweet Sammy was returned to us as sometimes it’s just not the right fit. It’s understandable and all we can do is work our hardest to find her a forever family.

Sammy is an 8-year-old hound mix who loves to play, is good with other dogs, but needs a family without small children. She was abandoned at a convenience store, so she is tentative until you’ve earned her trust. Then, she is head over heels for you! Please consider adopting this senior and giving her the gift of a forever home.
