Pup siblings, Stella Rose and Ruckus were in to see our Rehab team yesterday. They are both healing from injuries with laser therapy and hydrotherapy. They kept each other company during their underwater treadmill sessions.

Xena started her weight loss program about a month ago. So far she has lost 7 pounds, 2 inches off her waist and 3 inches from around her chest! Xena comes in weekly for underwater treadmill sessions and is doing a few exercises at home with her owner. She has a little more weight to loose, but she is well on her way to a happier, healthier life. Bravho visited our rehabilitation department for the first time today. He was so relaxed during his acupuncture session that he fell asleep! He is the best boy!

Hans is participating in a fitness program to help maintain a healthy weight and to help reduce the risk of back problems that dachshunds are prone to. Hans also likes to stay active by taking trick dog classes and running in fast cat trials. The underwater treadmill is used in fitness to help increase stamina and endurance.

Roscoe is a trooper in the underwater treadmill! Just give him some peanut butter and he will walk all day. He likes to weave when he walks, so the pool noodles help keep him walking in a straight line.

Willow came back to see our rehabilitation team today. She did a trial session in our underwater treadmill to see if she would like it. She did fabulous! More videos and pictures in the comments. Feel free to share our post.
