Auburn Alabama Golden Retrievers. A recent Allday Golden Retrievers' family graduate via the Auburn University Nursing Program. Stuart Pope started the therapy dog program at AU back in 2010 along with his Allday Golden Retriever named Miller. It was good to hear from Hannah that the program Stuart founded was still ongoing but I was saddened that Mr. Pope had passed away. This little rascal was able to slip into the recent graduation pictures at AU.

Stuart Pope started the pet therapy program at the Auburn University's School of Nursing. He was the founder of the college's CAREing Paws Program. When he first contacted me back in October of 2010, he told me that he had started a brand new therapy dog program at the college and that the golden he was about to get from us would be going to Auburn University (Miller Hall) with him every day. Two years later he brought this article to me which included a picture of Miller and two other dogs in the program. I only found out earlier in this year of his passing in 2023. The therapy dog program he began is still going. Say hello to Harvey. He loves the water, which includes boat rides. Well, probably any kind of ride gets him excited (including car/truck rides). Just being with his family is exciting too. Thanks for sending the pictures Jared.

One of many reasons to love Goldens! I always say that cats can only resist snuggling for a short time. They seem to like Goldens better than other cats.
