Sweet Birdie girl is a 5yo spayed boxer in search of her forever home for 2025! This baby girl was left at home over the Christmas holiday with a rover sitter. She ate a washcloth and a hand towel while unattended. Her parents brought her to Urgent Vet where she was diagnosed with a foreign body. They paid the bill for both the ER visit AND emergency foreign body surgery. The family of five (3 small kids) dropped her off the next morning for surgery, but decided they no longer wanted her back. So I picked up Birdie that night after I got off work and stuffed her into my already packed house so she could recover here. She is a Velcro dog and so very loving. She’s eating/drinking normally and recovering nicely from her major surgery. She listens well, house trained and knows basic commands.
