Paws and Taws is dancing this Friday, January 24. Early rounds at 7:00pm with Kristine Nelson, Mainstream with announced Plus with Tony Simmons calling and rounds between tips 7:30 to 9:30pm.

Note - if the usual gate on South E. First Street is closed, use the gate on Second Street.

I don’t know who needs a pair of ladies size 7 white knee high ABBA boots for the dance tomoz night. But they are in the Dream Centre thrift store (near McDonalds in Seneca) Ingles Place. $6

Paws and Taws and guest caller Sam Rowan present a celebration of ABBA this Friday, January 17.

A third Friday, so all square dancing; no rounds or lines. Mainstream workshop 7:00 to 7:30pm, Mainstream dance 7:30 to 8:30pm, and Plus 8:30 to 9:30.

Paws and Taws dance on Friday, January 10 is CANCELLED due to the forecasted snow event. Stay safe and warm - it sounds like conditions will be hazardous.

Paws and Taws will be offering square dancing lessons in 2025 - invite your friends to discover what a great physical, mental, and social activity modern western square dancing is! No obligation introduction with a taco bar dinner Wednesday, January 8. No cost for the first two lessons (January 15 and 22), $5 per person per night starting January 29.

And be sure to check out the fabulous Christmas lights display choreographed to music in downtown Seneca, just blocks away, before or after the dance.

What a deal! Dinner and dancing!

Our Thanksgiving Dinner dance will be Saturday November 23. Thanksgiving Turkey dinner and yummy homemade sides will be served at 6 PM. The dance starts at 7 pm with Tony calling Squares and Sandy calling Lines. Dinner and Dance only $10!

Have you heard? Paws and Taws is now dancing THREE times a month, on the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th Fridays!

The second 3rd Friday dance is this week, November 15. Different dance format:
7:00 to 7:30pm - Mainstream workshop
7:30 to 8:30pm - Mainstream dance
8:30 to 9:30pm - Plus dance
No rounds or lines, just square dancing.

The major driver for adding another dance each month is to provide floor time for out new dancers. Mike Cox will be calling this month.
