We're proud to announce the newest addition to our team of sponsored riders, Matt Koch! 🩷

Matt Koch grew up in Seneca, Kansas, and his love for horses came from time spent with his grandpa. Together, they would frequent local sale barns and bring home new horses to train and sell.
After high school, Matt decided to pursue a degree in horse training and management through Lamar Community College, and spent his internship starting 2-year-olds for Lloyd Cox before he deciding expand his career. He went on to work for Robbie Boyce and Darren Miller, where he learned about the Cowhorse. Although he has found his niche there, Matt says he wouldn’t be who he is today with out the opportunity to cowboy for two great ranches, Haythorn Land and Cattle and Wagonhound Land and Livestock.
Ultimately, no matter how great a horse is in the show pen, Matt doesn’t feel las though his training is successful if the horse can’t perform a job outside of the arena as well.

As the Sunset last night we reflected on the amazing horse show we had in Scottsdale. It was hot but our horses showed up for us and we couldn’t be more happy with the outcome!
