10/3/25 Foster Focus

Kilo, Neutered male, American Bulldog, two years old, 75 pounds.

Kilo needs a place to stay while he finishes his treatment for heartworms. He is up to date on his meds.

He is playful and loving. Kilo loves to play fetch, play with other dogs, and to run. But mostly he likes to be near his people. Kilo is housetrained.

Kilo is working with a trainer and doing very well considering he only sees him once a week or less frequently. Kilo is a quick learner and is mastering sit, down (lie down), stand, stay, and come. He is doing very well on loose leash walking.

Can Kilo be your house guest for a bit?

Thank you and Kilo adds, “Woof” 🐾

Meet Haydn Composer
an 8 week old, Great Pyrenees / Lab mix, who weighs 15 pounds from Tennessee.

Haydn Composer is a golden guy! He is social, fun, always ready to chase a toy or bounce around with the joy of a cheerful tune. He is an outgoing social butterfly who loves people and other dogs. He also enjoys snuggling, and would make a great nap partner when the music slows. Haydn is almost ready to learn to walk on a leash and is going to make a great walking buddy. He’s getting well socialized and well loved and is ready for his forever home!

Ollie needs a foster. His current situation will have to end this coming week end (9/4-5/25) and then he has no where to go. Can you help Ollie?

Ollie is around 14 wks. old, weighs about 28 pounds, is likely a Mt. Cur/Plott Hound mix. He is neutered and up to date on his vaccines and preventatives. Ollie is potty trained, walks on a leash, knows several commands, and is well socialized with people and dogs. Is interested in meeting children and probably would be good with them given some guidance. He has not met any cats yet.

Ollie a/k/a Oliver is posted for adoption and it should not take long to find him a home.

Please say “Yes” to fostering cutie Ollie for a bit.

October is a great month to show some love to all our furry friends, but especially our black cats. They're often the last to be adopted, so we're making a special effort to help them find their forever homes.

Your donations will go directly to helping all the animals we care for. Every little bit helps! https://www.paypal.com/donate/?hosted_button_id=4NFZKXYQJ2FRJ

9/30/25 Can you foster one of these dogs?

This local pound is still over full. They have only six kennels and the only reason they can handle seven dogs is because two of the dogs came in together. We are living on borrowed time because if the police have to pick up one more stray, which is very likely, one or more of these dogs will have to go. That means they could be killed to make room in the pound.

All of these dogs are nice dogs and a trainer is working with each one almost weekly and will continue training with the foster if desired. All but Mickey and Kilo are posted for adoption.

These dogs are up to date on their vaccines and preventatives. And all are spayed or neutered except Mickey who will be scheduled soon. Also, Kilo and Mickey have heartworms and need to be treated but we need them to be in a stable secure environment to do that. Care of them after receiving their treatment is not difficult, but takes around three months to complete their foster time.

Please welcome one of this souls into your home.
