Our low-cost spay/neuter program and foster care initiatives help reduce pet overpopulation and promote responsible pet ownership.

Hello, My name is Bluey. I am looking for a place to stay while I find my forever home. I am very loyal and know basic commands. I may be an English Coonhound mix. I am around four years old and weigh about 60 pounds.

My personal trainer says I am a smart dog. I was focused on my training during our sessions and I caught on quickly to new training items. I really like to please my people. I love people including children and like to hug and kiss. I am lots of fun and I enjoy lying on the ground getting petted. Everyone I meet is a friend.

I love people including children and like to hug and kiss. I am lots of fun and I enjoy lying on the ground getting petted. Everyone I meet is a friend.

I walk on a leash without pulling while staying close to my person. I know to sit, down (lie down), and to stay at least for a minute. I am looking to continue training to learn more and my trainer says he will come work with me and whoever will foster or adopt me.

I get along well with most dogs, large or small, especially well with girl dogs. I don’t know if I have met a cat. My original people couldn’t keep me. I was inside and we had children and there might have been a cat. Then I went to an outside pound and now I am at an outside foster home. I really like the lady but I have to stay in a outside kennel and she can’t keep me any more. I have been waiting so long for my forever family to find me. I want so very much to be inside where I can love on my people.

Please let me stay with you. I have to leave where I am very soon and I don’t know what will happen to me if I don’t have someone who will help me.
