Guess who got adopted?!

Oliver got adopted today! Congratulations to Oliver and his family.

Oliver was the puppy who was running around in the Monteagle, TN Piggly Wiggly parking lot almost getting hit by cars on the road. He was rescued by a some nice young women from Sewanee University who fostered him until he could find a permanent foster and forever home. It really does take a village to save these precious souls.

Thank you to everyone who helped Oliver get to a wonderful life.

Meet Dora
a 16 week old, Great Pyrenees / Australian Shepherd / Heeler mix, who weighs about 34 pounds.

Dora is a gorgeous girl, and she has the softest coat and a heart of gold! At almost 4 months old, she’s the perfect mix of playful puppy and gentle companion. She’s doing great with her potty training and is learning to walk on a leash. Dora has been raised around other dogs and cats and gets along wonderfully with everyone. She’s friendly, outgoing, and adores children — the kind of pup who brings joy wherever she goes.

Dora is happy & healthy (and aDORAble), and ready to find her forever home where she’ll be loved and cherished!

Ivy

is looking for a place to stay starting Monday 11/10/25 after she gets spayed on Friday. Then she will be looking for a forever family. (She is currently in a nearby pound.)

Ivy is a fun girl who is around 2 yrs old and weighs about 50 pounds. She seems to be good with dogs and cats. She seems to be house trained and walks fairly well on a leash. Ivy is up to date on her vaccines and preventatives.

These two sweethearts came to us with the most severe "cherry eye" infections we’ve ever seen. Emergency surgery was their only chance at a pain-free life and adoption. The surgeries were successful, and they are now thriving!

Six months old and tossed out by a bridge—that was Miley and Katie's heartbreaking start. They were dumped because of severe "cherry eye," with raw, painful infections. Our team was devastated, but thanks to our incredible supporters, we were able to act fast!

To the donors who funded their successful surgeries: THANK YOU! You changed their lives.

Now, these two beautiful girls are adopted, happy, and healthy in their loving homes. Their surgery may be over, but the need for reliable care never stops.
