WAG Welfare for Animals Guild

WAG Welfare for Animals Guild Our aim is to protect animals from neglect, abuse, & exploitation, & to advocate for their welfare. WAG is a dog rescue on the Olympic Peninsula, WA.

Our animals are cared for in foster homes and at the Halfway Home Ranch until loving, permanent homes are found. All of our dogs are spayed, neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and provided with appropriate veterinary care. Our goals are:
To rescue lost, neglected, ill, injured or abandoned dogs. To provide those animals a safe place until adoption. To provide a resource for people that can no longer take care of their dogs. To find loving, forever homes for dogs in need.

How's the year looking at WAG so far? We are glad to have restarted our prison training program with two dogs having completed training, coordinated and paid for 45 spays and neuters for community members' pets, partnered on several occasions with local law enforcement, and have seen more adoptions this year so far than in the past couple of years. We couldn't do it without the support of our community, donors, fosters, adopters, and volunteers!
