WAG Welfare for Animals Guild

WAG Welfare for Animals Guild Our aim is to protect animals from neglect, abuse, & exploitation, & to advocate for their welfare. WAG is a dog rescue on the Olympic Peninsula, WA.

Our animals are cared for in foster homes and at the Halfway Home Ranch until loving, permanent homes are found. All of our dogs are spayed, neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and provided with appropriate veterinary care. Our goals are:
To rescue lost, neglected, ill, injured or abandoned dogs. To provide those animals a safe place until adoption. To provide a resource for people that can no longer take care of their dogs. To find loving, forever homes for dogs in need.

Please note Labor Day hours

We will be holding special hours for Labor Day this upcoming Monday, as many general practices will be closed for the holiday. We will be operating with a small team (hence the reduced hours), but still wanted to be available for pet owners on the holiday. Have a safe and happy holiday weekend!

PUPDATE! Remember Sebastian from last summer? He's all grown up now and handsome as can be! Tofu, as he is now known, is reportedly quite the hiking buddy. Thank you to his adopter for the update.

Max’s heart is even bigger than he is, which is saying something! And yes, while the camera angle makes him look absolutely huge, he really is that majestic in person! What’s truly colossal, though, is his spirit. Max is a gunshot survivor. He has overcome more in his young life than any dog ever should, and he's met it all with a goofy, playful, and powerful spirit that is simply unbreakable.

This deserving boy is ready for a new beginning and we know his perfect match is out there. Read his story, and see if it’s you. To adopt Max or any of WAG's dogs, please apply through our website, www.wagsequimwa.com

What a weekend! We're still smiling after seeing so many of you at our open house on Saturday. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you to every person, volunteer, and staff member who made the day so joyful. Thank you to everyone who came out, and to all those who support us from afar. We're so excited to be processing new adoption applications thanks to you!
