WAG Welfare for Animals Guild Our aim is to protect animals from neglect, abuse, & exploitation, & to advocate for their welfare. WAG is a dog rescue on the Olympic Peninsula, WA.

Our animals are cared for in foster homes and at the Halfway Home Ranch until loving, permanent homes are found. All of our dogs are spayed, neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and provided with appropriate veterinary care. Our goals are:
To rescue lost, neglected, ill, injured or abandoned dogs. To provide those animals a safe place until adoption. To provide a resource for people that can no longer take care of their dogs. To find loving, forever homes for dogs in need.

The dogs used to bark and back away, sometimes if they were brave they would rush towards you and bark telling you to go away. It is very different now

PUPDATE! Here's what Jackson's owners have to say:
"A bit over a year ago, my husband and I adopted Jackson from you all, and we just wanted to send over a happy little update. He's proven to be an absolute champion snuggler, loves "helping" in the garden, hanging out with his big sis, chasing crows, and going on long hikes. Thanks for helping us bring this sweetheart home, he's a total gem, and we couldn't imagine life without him!"

Mom and 5 puppies came into WAG a week ago and are in a foster home. Puppies were between 1 & 3 lbs at 7 weeks old. Happily they are all doing great and gaining weight. These pups won't be ready for adoption for a couple of weeks yet. Not sure on breed.

7 little pittie nuggets. Sadly their Momma dog couldn’t feed them as she had a surgery. So we are bottle feeding them.
