Olive’s favorite cookie baker Kerri lost her Timber recently, and is holding a toy drive for pups in his honor ❤️

💚❤️To honor Timber, we are doing a dog toy donation drive. 💚❤️

If you haven't seen or read, our 9 year old husky shepherd mix passed away on Friday 12/6. He recently had a splenectomy because he had a unknown tumor that ruptured on his spleen. We then found out he had hemangiosacoma, which is a silent killer in dogs. Thankfully we were able to spend an extra 39 days with him but it still wasn't long enough 💔

Timber loved to play. He was active non stop. He always wanted to play. His favorite toy was his squeaky green ball 💚. He loved chasing the side by side. He loved chasing his sister Willow. He would get the zoomies often as well.

All the toys donated will be donated to PA Caring for K9. This is the rescue we got Timber from when he was 8 weeks old 💕

Toys can be dropped off at our shop during shop hours or in our pick up tote on our side porch. We will be collecting them until 12/22.

The plan was not to take Bear short today, but because his coat had matted it was our best option. Due to a death in the family his grooming had to be postponed, and he has a tough coat to maintain even when on schedule.
We decided to ‘reset’ rather than work to get all of the knots out, which is a long and tedious process and can be uncomfortable for the dog.
Upside, the short clip brought out a beautiful pattern in his coat and he’ll be comfortable for the remaining summer days ☀️
