💜Meet Chewy!💜

Chewy is a 8 month old little girl who is only 21 pounds! She loves other dogs, stuffed animals, and cuddling. Chewy has a healthy respect for cats and definitely gives them their space. This baby is from a large group of animals that came from a home where the owner unfortunately passed away. Chewy is more than ready for her second leash on life!

💗Diesel is 1 year old and about 43 pounds.

💗Diesel has been having a vacation from the shelter at a foster home and this is what his foster parent had to say about him: "He’s doing amazing, he loves cuddling and sleeping right by your side at night and he loves playing with my pup, he does well with my cats he was really interested in them at first but he’s backed off and just admires from a distance now but overall he’s been doing really well and he’s just over all a sweet boy!"💗

🙏We are so thankful to our fosters for giving these animals a break from the stress of the shelter!

💗A trial adoption is for you! We want to set our potential adopters up for success. That's why we almost always recommend a trial adoption. You will have a two-week period to get to know your new pet and make sure everyone is happy! 💗

Arthur is having a vacation and learning some manners from the amazing folks at our Boarding Buddy, North Star K9 Training They tell us he's doing great despite his big Jack Russell energy!😆

✨Arthur is 4 years old and only about 32 pounds. He is a high energy boy that will definitely keep you on your toes. He's good with other dogs, loves toys (especially balls), and would be great with kids who can match his vibes! Unfortunately, those vibes DO NOT include cats or livestock. ✨

He loves other dogs, toys, kids, and meeting new people (especially if those new people have snacks or toys). He is super smart and could be easily trained. He already knows "sit"!

🐾You can take a shelter dog on a field trip! Hit a hiking trail, a local park, the patio at a distillery, go home and have a nap (we're not judging).

🐾If you are interested in a particular dog, this is a great way to see if they are a good fit!

🐾If you aren't able to adopt, it's a great way to help a shelter dog get a break, get some socialization, exercise, and maybe even get adopted by someone you meet on your adventures!

🚨All shelter pets must remain on leash at all times in public places. Shelter pets are not allowed at dog parks.🚨

Here just a few of the ✳️23✳️ owner surrenders that we got in yesterday through Sevier County Animal Control!😲🫣🥹 We are filling the kennels right back up with sweet babies that need our help which means we still need your help!🙏 🙏🙏 All of these babies are available for foster or adoption! If you have already signed up to foster and would like to help one of these babies, just come on down tomorrow when we’re open from 1 to 5 PM.

She is good with dogs, house broken, crate trained, and knows "sit". She's smart, sweet, and playful. The zoomiest zoomer that ever zoomed! 🐾 Cooper is being fostered with our Boarding Buddy, @pawzdogservices to help free up some much needed space at the shelter and we are so grateful!🙏 Cooper is 1 year old and about 70 pounds. He is a high energy goofball that loves attention. He's good with kids. We aren't sure of history with cats but he does well with other dogs. He is housebroken and knows "sit" and "lay down".
