🎉 It’s time to celebrate! 🎉

🥳Yesterday we had Christmas in June! Santa Claus literally came to town and took one of our longest residents Mary Christmas on a trial adoption! What a match made in heaven! Mary has been with us since November 2024.

🥳 Staff favorite Damsel also went on a trial yesterday with one of our amazing volunteers. Damsel has been with us since January. Scope her out taking her first nap out of the shelter!

🥳Jasail who has been with us since March and recently has been getting really depressed left on a trial adoption with one of our foster volunteers. Look how happy she is (3rd photo)!!

🥳Not to mention the adorable brothers in the fourth photo who were really excited to take home their new best friend, Honeydew the kitten!

🥳Little Sammie also found her forever family! It was an immediate connection.

Does anyone have room in their homes and hearts for two senior bonded girls?

Kiki (medium hair) and JJ (short ) are 11 and 12 years old respectively. JJ is Kiki‘s mother and they’ve been together ever since Kiki was born. Unfortunately, their owner recently passed away and they were surrendered to our shelter toward the end of April. Ever since then they’ve been waiting for someone with a big heart to take them together.

We can’t believe Grizz is still not adopted!

This five-year-old guy is just excited to be included in whatever is going on. Happy go lucky is an understatement. He loves snacks, outdoor time, and other dogs.

🚨DONATION NEEDS FOR THE WEEK OF 6/23-6/29!🚨

🙏DISPOSABLE LITTER PANS (See photo for examples).
🙏ALL PET FOOD! (Our Pet Food Pantry is EXTREMELY low, and we are in DESPERATE need of wet & dry cat/dog/kitten/puppy foods.)

Things to remember about donation drop offs:

🎀Donations can be dropped off on TUESDAYS and SATURDAYS FROM 8AM-5PM.
🎀 We are CLOSED from 8am-1pm, if you come by during that time, please leave items at the front of the building. Staff is caring for animals during this time and will not be available to assist with drop offs.
🎀Due to limited staffing and volunteers we ask that if you need help unloading to let a staff member know and wait PATIENTLY for them to be available to help. Our first priorities are caring for animals and assisting potential adopters!
🚫PLEASE DO NOT DROP OFF DONATIONS OUTSIDE OF THESE TIMES OR OUTSIDE OF THE GATE.
🚫PLEASE DO NOT DONATE ITMES ON OUR "NO LONGER NEEDED" LIST.
🙏Please remember, that we are SO GRATEFUL for any donations we receive for the animals even if we don't get a chance to say it to you face to face, or get a picture for social media, or have time to send a thank you note! WE APPRECIATE EVERYTHING OUR COMMUNITY DOES FOR THE ANIMALS IN OUR CARE!!!💗💗💗

🙏Mary Christmas needs a hero!🙏

This sweet and calm Great Dane mix girl has been with us since November 2024. We just don’t get it! Mary is housebroken, calm, good with other dogs, and quiet. She likes everyone she meets and loves everyone so deeply once she gets to know them. Her previous owner says that she even gets along with cats and has a positive history with children.

Please share this post as she deserves her forever home after waiting for so long. Mary’s adoption fee has been sponsored…. all she needs now is love.
