Thanks again to everyone who came out to the Columbus reptile expo today!
It was really busy in there, lots of people asking all the right questions and taking home some amazing new pets. Same great vendors as always with some amazing new additions, this show is turning it into something special!

Had a great time at the Columbus reptile expo today. Everyone LOVES the new location....much more space, a few new vendors to add to the already great vendors we have always had. New faces in addition seasoned attendees.....all around good time!
Next show is Feb. 2nd, make sure you don't miss it!

So I forgot something important about featherleg baboons ........and it turns out we DO have babies!!

S. Calceatum (Featherleg baboons) are slightly different than a lot of other tarantulas in that instead of having a free moving eggsac (that they carry and roll and protect by keeping it under them)......they actually attach it to something (like the bark side of their hide). Mine put hers against the bark in such a way that you couldn't even tell it was a sac......couldn't tell it was round, or full or anything. It was completely smooth down in there because she laid it in an indentation in the wood!!

Pic one is her letting me know she doesn't like me. Pic two is the first baby to run out of the nest after momma was rehoused.

2nd/3rd instar about 1/2". Wholesale available

Avicularia avicularia M1 (Pink Toe)
All approx. 1".

Heterometrus silenus. (Asian Forest Scorpion)
Well started babies about 3/4"-1"

Tityus stigmurus (Brazilian yellow Scorpion)
Well started babies all about 1".
This species is communal and parthenogenic

Thank you to everyone who came out to the Columbus reptile expo and stopped at our table today. As always it's a pleasure to see everyone and to talk shop as well as help everyone pick out their new pets! Sent quite a few 8 legged horror hamsters to their new homes today!

Checked in on the "Little Sea" while cleaning and feeding a bit last night.....lots of bodies in there, some neat colors popping up.

Temperate springtails.....I started this culture about a week/ week and a half ago and it's doing really well.... I have tons of these cultures available and also have orange springtails as well!
