We just have to take a minute and shout out our thankfulness for this guy right here - our Director, Scott, aka the dog whisperer. His love and care for our animals is unmatched and to say they love him back is an understatement!

We are so lucky to have Scott on our team. Scott Petro thank you for everything you have done for BRPR and all the dogs and cats you have loved on, helped, found new homes for, worked with on training so they could find new homes, and given hope to. We know this work isn't easy. THANK YOU SCOTT. 🐾

Brody took a field trip yesterday out to Phillips Gun Dogs LLC to be evaluated by Chad to see if he would make a hunting dog!

Brody showed interest in birds and it is believed that with some more time and training, he could make a good bird dog for someone.

Thank you Chad for your time to evaluate Brody! If anyone is needing bird dog training, give him a call.

Petey is the last of our “long timers” to find his perfect home.🥹 Wow - the last couple months have been amazing! We are so fortunate to have found such amazing homes for these dogs, and they deserve it.
Thank you to everyone who has donated to their care, volunteered and picked up shifts, told their friends about these dogs, and shared our posts! We couldn’t do this without your amazing support.
