Porter needs a Foster Home!

Porter is currently in a shelter and we want to get him out, but we don’t have a foster with no other pets.

Here is some information about him:

Porter is about 9
No Dogs
No Cats
Ok with Kids
He is strong and can be reactive on walks with other dogs
He is sweet, loves people
House trained
He doesn't have any separation anxiety.

Porter just needs us to help bridge the gap for him to find a forever home...Can you help???

As animal lovers, we know our pets are family! While it's tempting to include them in all our festivities, this summer, let's prioritize their safety during fireworks.

🚫 Please keep your furry friends at home during fireworks displays. Loud noises can frighten pets, causing them to run away.

Here are some 4th of July and Fireworks Pet Safety Tips:

• Create a safe, quiet space indoors where your pet can feel secure.
• Consider using calming aids recommended by your veterinarian.
• If you must be outside with your pet, keep them on a leash or in a secure carrier.

Pets often flee from the loud noises of fireworks, making the 4th of July a busy night for Animal Control Officers. Let's work together to keep our furry companions safe and calm this Independence Day!
