Buying eggs off eBay is always fun.🤗
After consulting with Greenfire farms and the breeder who is in good standing telling me they don't have anything blue on the farm.
They only sent me Indio Gigante.

The opinion is that we have a Fibro melanistic Indio Gigante.. 🤯

We are very fortunate to have all 6 of our Indio Gigante hatch as they are supposedly difficult to hatch after shipping.
Now the Candy corn chicks are starting to pop out as well 🐣

He didn't care for any grain at first but I popped some in his mouth the last few days and now he's waiting for dinner with the others yesterday and today. I think he's finally starting to catch on grain is yummy 🤤. He does not have any grain in his mouth, he just chomps in anticipation while I'm getting everything ready. Love this bearded dork!!

Minerva's bath 🤗

Bath day 🤗.. our Minerva has come such a long way. From the kill pen at 10 mo because she was flagged as the most dangerous horse. The transport and holding pen all told me she was going to kill me. It turned out she was injured by a blow to the head which caused her to lose sight. So she was just lashing out at everything and everyone. Fast forward 3 yrs and she is the most amazing and eager to please horse who is always giving me hugs and licking my hands or head. We have found a potential adopter and hopefully forever home for this sweet girl. It's going to break my heart but I've taken her as far as I can go. She can clearly see now and I'm excited to have her go to someone who has lifelong riding plans in store for her. (Ignore the dirty pool I have a lot of geese and ducks. It was clean this morning 😅)

Dell's Kingslayer

Can't wait to get our stallion prospect from Dell's Farm Vanners in NY 🤗. 2.5 mo old showing that calm and eager to please demeanor that made me love his sire, King of the South. Imported parents from well known lines "PA Blue horse" Probably Lp and Sabino. Cant wait to test his color. Look at that apple bottom and thick neck 🤗 They have 2 more colts left for the season.

Narcis the Embden Goose

Meet our Embden Narcis, he was on the meat block when I bought him and all he does is hiss at everything and look at himself in the reflection all day. I have 6 females he can't be bothered with, he really loves himself 🤷‍♀️. It's ok, he's lucky I love him too!
