Puppy lovers, gather around! A adorable furry friend has joined the Golden Rule Family and we cannot wait to share the excitement with you. On 6/11/2023, a long haired chihuahua puppy was born, with one cute little fluff ball!

She has her unique traits and quirks that makes her stand out from one another.

As for Ms Morgan:
Ms Morgan was one of the sweetest puppies I had ever met. She was just a overwhelming ball of love and kisses. As the schedules were a bit off with our neighbors Amish whelping house that raised her I had the joy of baby sitting her for a few days. We watched Bob's Burgers together and she was just a joy to be around. It was so hard to not keep her myself. At Golden Rule Kennels and Homestead we have 9 dogs as it is 😅 and she was already reserved to a lovely home. Last I heard her grandmother Bonnie let me know her parents were making a family photo album of her and her new name is Poppy😍🥹

PUPDATE! I’m happy to say that Velma who is now named Emma by her new mom Acacia Woolsey is having a wonderful time (she’s the brown mini poodle)! She’s gotten lots of play time with her new siblings as well as her nieces and nephews. Emma has a lovely haircut an couldn’t be happier! Emma’s mom has also reserved Ms Willow! I’m so excited for her to enjoy her new home in a few weeks time 🥰

On 7/11/2023 , a litter of golden retriever puppies was born, with 8 cute little fluff balls in total. Their names are all based on sharks! They were being named during shark week!

Hello there! Welcome to Golden Rule Kennels, a family-owned dog breeding business located in the beautiful hills of Seymour, Missouri. Our goal is to provide you with all the information you need to know about our business and answer any frequently asked questions you may have. We are currently raising our pets and future mothers and fathers to Golden Rule pups. Updates on our farm raised puppies are coming soon ~

We are proud Amish country neighbors turned family friends of breeders who lack access to internet and cameras. We work with them to expand their sales beyond the immediate region and offer puppy boutique quality animals at affordable prices. Our name reflects the belief in treating others as we would like to be treated - even the furry members of our families. Our breeding program has expanded to include other breeds all thanks to the pet enthusiasts of Seymour.

Frequently Asked Questions:

Are the puppies socialized? If so to what extent?

Yes, all our puppies are socialized with children, dogs of varying sizes, and even a few farm animals to ensure a loving and friendly temperament. We visit the puppies once a week for updates and extra socialization, as we aim to help you find the perfect furry companion for your family.

Are the puppies potty trained?

The first step in potty training is taken care of for you! Our puppies are crate-trained, so while they will still need further training, they have been trained to having aversion or refusal to use the bathroom where they sleep. This is the hardest step to potty training and the easy part is to direct them to where they should do their business. 🐶💩

Are the puppies vaccinated? Can I see their health records?

Yes, all puppies receive required vaccines and recommended treatments such as dewormers. We can provide you with their vaccination schedule upon request, and the puppies also attend regular vet visits for health and developmental assessments.

What kind of food do you provide for the puppies?

Once the puppies are 3/4 weeks old and their teeth start to emerge we wean them to VALU-PACK FREE 20-28 For Active Dogs And Puppies. We love this food and it’s been great for our dogs as well!

Can I meet the puppies before purchasing?

Absolutely! It’s always welcome to have one-on-one bonding with your puppy to know if they’re the perfect match for you and your family. Send us a message on puppies.com at Golden Rule Kennels (the link to our website is located on our Facebook homepage) so we know your puppy of interest and send us a text at 4176304063 and we can schedule a convenient meet up time together!

How do I reserve a puppy?

To reserve a puppy, we require a non-refundable 50% deposit of the total price. This will remove the puppy from availability to other interested buyers. Once the puppy is 8 weeks of age or older, the remaining 50% must be paid before delivery.

Are the puppies registered?

All of the parents, unless stated otherwise, are registered. If your puppy will be a pet only, registration is not necessary. If you're interested in registration, we can discuss different programs and associated fees with AKC.

What kind of support do you offer for new puppy owners?:

We are there for you even once your new puppy is home. We can provide tips, advice for health issues, or offer some emotional support from long term pet owners. Our favorite thing is update photos of puppies who have found their new family! Feel free to share your photos and videos with us! If you would like to be featured on our Facebook with your Golden Rule pup please reach out to us! When you share your experience you can inspire others to welcome that same joy into their lives.

Transportation Information:

We offer various transportation options, including local pickup, local transportation, and flight nanny services. We can transport your new family member for a 2$ a mile fee. Alternatively, you can choose a pet transport service of your choice.

Payment information:

We currently accept cash (for in-person purchases), PayPal, and checks (which must clear before transport or reservation). Prices won’t be available over Facebook, visit our website or give us a call!
