Raising family raised AKC Golden Retriever puppies in the Midwest. Our dogs are our pets.

We are the proud owners of 7 Golden Retrievers and would love to provide homes for their puppies that all Goldens deserve. Our two young boys and toddler girls play with them, they go for walks with us, they get frequent trips to the river, and we allow them to run free on our 20 acre farm on a regular basis.

What a month this has been. If you feel my communication has slowed or you’ve been ignored I apologize. Here’s a little update:

My son graduated from high school last night! To those who have been following for awhile or since the beginning, you’ve probably seen my family when you’ve been here or in posts. We started Finley River Retrievers when he was in pre-K. The build up and all the activities as well as still being in baseball season has been full force!

My grandma passed away last week. She lived a good 97 years and has always been a big piece of our family. She loved coming out to see the puppies and always asked about them. She will be missed greatly.
Time flies…

The frigid temperatures have brought extra work but the snow has brought these dogs extra fun! I think I’ve seen or been sent around 100 videos of other Finley River Retrievers loving it as well.

Our first litter of white Goldens will be headed home this weekend. We’ve had a great time with them 🥰
