Meet Our Trainers:

Jess Saari - Jess has over 25 years of riding experience. She has trained all over the country competing at 3 day events and attended various hunter jumper circuits. She took a break from showing for a few years to focus on starting horses and doing corrective training with problem horses. Jess studied at the University of Minnesota, Crookston were she rode on the IHSA and NCAA

equestrian teams. She graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Equine Science and Animal Science focusing her studies on equine exercise physiology and nutrition. Through college she did multiple internships including riding and training. The basis of Jess's training is on conditioning the horse to be successful in their jobs. Jess enjoys helping and guiding people of all ages and all levels of experience to be successful in their riding.

WOW!! You guys are always challenging me and you asked and I am doing it. Welcome to the Hotter than the Blazes Dressage Schooling Show and Eventing Derby taking place at Windenoak Equestrian Center on July 19-20, 2025. Still working on the details and hiring judges, but Saturday will be dressage classes (regular dressage, Western dressage and eventing dressage tests), and then on Sunday we will have jumping classes (prix caprilli tests, and eventing jumping by division). Eventing riders will be able to combine their dressage scores with their jumping scores for championship ribbons. Don't forget about the leadline classes (both dressage and western) and the newly added Champagne class. Watch for details to come!!
