Sales Policy (please read)
Please be sure that you are aware of the responsibilities of being a loving bunny owner before you purchase one. A bunny can live 8+ years and requires daily care.🐰
I run a small Holland Lop breeding program so that I can ensure that each and every-one of my bunnies gets all of the love, care and attention they deserve. I (and often the other members of my family) handle every single baby daily from the time they are born so that they are well socialized for you and your family. They are also used to dogs, vacuums, and other household noises. They are raised in a bunny room inside my home and get plenty of exercise, play time, handling, and love. I breed pedigreed Holland Lops and work hard to improve their quality and type with each purposeful breeding. I am a member of the ARBA and HRSC.
Deposit/Holding
To reserve a bunny of your choice I require a 50% NONREFUNDABLE deposit to be immediately placed, which goes towards the full payment of your bunny. Full payment of your bunny is due before it can leave my care. All sales are FINAL, nontransferable, and nonrefundable. All bunnies are 4 weeks old before I take deposits and it is a first come first served basis. No bunny will leave my care before it is 8 weeks old. Bunnies can be picked up the week after their wean date. I have the right to cancel and remove any sale at any given time, especially if I feel the bunny will not be put into a safe living environment. Your bunny must be picked up on the date it is scheduled to leave. If not, additional fees of $2/day will be charged until the next scheduled pick-up day. No refunds on deposits if you choose not to complete the purchase. In some situations, we may agree to deliver your bunny or meet you at a closer location. A delivery fee may be assessed depending on distance.
*If for some reason a freak accident happens where your bunny gets sick/injured/dies before the scheduled pick-up date, your deposit will be FULLY REFUNDED or you have the option to use that deposit for a different bunny.
Pricing
The pricing of each rabbit varies depending on color, pedigree, and type. There tends to be more of a demand for does (female/girl) for 4H, other breeders, etc., but I personally prefer bucks (male/boy) for pets. Prices can range anywhere from $80-$250+. I work very hard and put in a lot of time, money, and effort to raise high quality, well -tempered, and healthy bunnies.

How to pick out a bunny
This is a closed rabbitry. I follow strict biohazard prevention procedures such as wearing only dedicated rabbit room shoes in the rabbitry, washing hands before handling bunnies, quarantining any new bunnies, etc. I do this to keep viruses, illnesses, and stressful situations away from the bunnies. This means you will pick out your bunny through pictures, videos, and other information that I provide. I do not let anyone go into the rabbitry and pick out their bunny in person - it is just too risky.
* When inquiring about a bunny it is very helpful if you tell me if you are looking for a pet, brood, show, buck, doe, certain markings, where you are located, your intentions, and a bit about your experience with bunnies. This helps me to make the best match between you and the bunny that will meet your expectations.
Age Requirement
You need to be 18+ years of age to order a bunny from me. If you are younger than 18 years old, I require some kind of contact from a parent/guardian with whom to discuss the purchase.
Pedigrees
Each and every-one of my breeding stock bunnies are purebred and pedigreed. Unless otherwise stated, l offer pedigrees for each bunny that leaves my program at time of sale for $25.
Health Guarantee
Any bunny that I sell will be healthy while it is in my rabbitry. I will not sell any bunny that shows signs of bad health. Therefore, to the best of my knowledge your rabbit will be healthy at the time they leave my care. Please message me with any health concerns or care tips as I would love to help. And I want to know if any of my kits show up with health issues as I may need to make breeding adjustments. After the bunny leaves my care, you are responsible for its health. No vet bills will be reimbursed under any circumstances.
• Please give your bunny 30 days to adjust to you. Everything is new to them, and you must gain their trust. Be patient, slow and gentle. I cannot take in a returned bunny due to biohazard issues and space restrictions. But I will help you rehome them if you decide it is not working out.
Spaying/Neutering
I do not spay or neuter my bunnies before they leave. The majority of my bunnies are sold at a young age and are not old enough to have that procedure done yet. I do highly recommend getting your bunny spayed/neutered when they are of age to help prevent any unwanted behaviors, attitudes, cancers, and obviously unwanted litters. For smaller bunny breeds, once they mature out, bucks can be neutered as early as 3.5 months and does can be spayed as early as 4 months old. I highly recommend finding an exotic pet veterinarian that has a lot of experience with bunnies. The vet can tell you if your bunny is ready to be spayed/neutered.
That type of vet is often cheaper as well as more knowledgeable about bunnies.
What I Provide
On the day of pick up for your bunny, I will provide a sandwich bag filled with their pellets, and a pedigree (if purchased). The pellets should be used to gradually mix in with whatever pellet type you have chosen in order to transition the bunny to a new food type. I do not provide anything else. You will need to have a safe way to transport them home. I am more than happy to answer questions and give my opinion on cages, playpens, bedding, toys, etc.

All sales will be made within the constructs to Forest Lane Lops' Sales Policy. When inquiring or purchasing bunnies from Forest Lane Lops, the buyer (interested party(ies) is in agreement to comply with the Sales policy in its entirety, regardless of whether the buyer has read it or not.
