Congrats to Bella and her new family!!! ❤️She is loved already and has a big yard to play in, a boy to grow up with, and a cat buddy (they got along well at the meet and greet). Happy rest of your life, sweet girl! Thanks to her fosters Paula and Chris for giving her this chance. Fostering saves lives. ( see happy face in comments 🙂)

Based on her age, she can do FOSTER TO ADOPT and will be spayed, Microchipped, and UTD on Bordetella and Distemper/Parvo vaccines prior to formal adoption.

She would do great in a family with another dog and/or children. She is currently in foster with a few other dogs and one young child.

UPDATE: ADOPTED!!!

Hi! It's me, Bella, again! I am oh so patiently waiting for my family!
Are you the love of my life?
My foster family loves me, but they know someone else out there would be the perfect home for me! About me:
*house trained
*crate trained (I like to squoosh into a small crate for some reason...it is my safe space when I am unsure...)
*love to play with other dogs (live with 3 other dogs right now)
*love to snuggle on the couch with people and dogs
*get along with kids
*spayed and up to date on shots
*love to go for walks
*I am a bit of a scaredy cat about new places and noises...for example, the washer and dryer scared me at first in my foster home because I had never been around them (I know, I am silly but the world is a big new place...I lived in an RV before I got here)
*I am a big people pleaser and want to make you happy
*I love my chew toys
*I am a little chunky but my foster family is working on it...more to love, right? (around 65 pounds ish)
*about a year and a half..

Reminder that YOU should go get a COLD WEATHER FOSTER from Panhandle Animal Welfare Society!

These dogs NEED you as we receive this cold front. The shelter staff is doing all that they can. Now it is up to us and the community to get a cold weather foster!

Bella…beautiful!!! 🤩And such a good girl!!!! ❤️She loves snuggles, kids, other dogs, treats, is a wiggle butt, and a happy girl! 😁She has been exercising with her foster family and also playing with their dog, so she lost a little weight, which she needed to. 🙂 Hard to believe she is available still, even though she is 65ish pounds she is a people pleaser and gentle. What does it mean if a pet is tagged “pending adoption”? It means the pet is being adopted but has not been spayed or neutered yet…so the adoption is not finalized. This is usually the case because they are too young to be altered yet, or are on the schedule to be altered. Now you know! These puppies are available to adopt right now. 🙂 Or to foster…they will be pending adoption if you adopt 🙂

Our local shelter needs your help for the upcoming cold!
Panhandle Animal Welfare Society needs fosters (as do we but currently urgent for them) and adopters so they can get all the pets somewhere warm. It is about to be in the twenties, and sadly they have outdoor pens because our community has TOO MANY stray/unwanted pets. They could also use blankets, sheets, sweaters/coats…and they have lots of dogs 50+ pounds. If you can help please do! See their FB page for info or drop by.

Want to meet her?! She would be great in a home with a dog, likes to play and appreciates the company! She also previously lived as the only dog with no issues. She lived in an RV with a loving mom and grew larger than expected, so the rv park said she had to go due to the park rules even though she got along with everyone. 😞
