Shapleigh Community Day

Shapleigh Community Day takes place on the fourth Saturday in July. Bring a chair, bring a picnic, and enjoy live music on the Commons. by 8:30AM. See you there!

If you are looking for something fun to do this summer, Shapleigh's Community Days begins Friday evening, July 22, Cedar Mountain Boys Bluegrass Band will perform live on Shapleigh Commons from 6-8:00PM. Saturday's events take place on and around Shapleigh Commons at 22 Back Road. Concessions open at 8:00AM. Parade starts at 9:00AM and we welcome participants. Make a float and line up on Knox Rd.

Drive your classic car and, after the parade, enter it in our car show. Dana Perkins will be performing magic and a fun filled puppet show. Animal Encounters are back, and our kid's area is free! We have plenty of food, fun, and music for everyone. Craft and Vendor space is available, message us if interested. Don't forget to check out the Silent Auction and the Concession Stand. Proceeds support our Community Day Scholarship fund. Shapleigh Community Day Scholarship Committee annually recognizes one or two residents of Shapleigh who are currently pursuing or planning to pursue higher education. This scholarship is open to all Shapleigh residents.

Thank you to everyone who helped make Community Day 2024, a day to remember. A lot of hard work and a lot of fun went into putting this event together and I am grateful to be a part of this community. I apologize to those who were in the parade who may not see a photo posted. I tried to capture everyone, but realized after the parade started that I was missing my memory card in the camera. (insert face-palm here). I took a quick jog to the start of the parade and tried to recapture images with my phone. I apologize to anyone I missed.
