2327 and Buckeye dropped some new twins tonight.
2327 isn’t the most likely candidate to build replacements, but she’ll make some really nice carcass lambs! Her side Blueberry was a massively thick speck - that built a number of lambs that did well in the carcass competitions.

Dad called this morning and needed help with a cow that wasn't making progress. Vet came out with a calf jack and about 20 minutes later we luckily had a new bull calf at Diamond D Acres! We weren't sure if this one was alive since the cord was hanging for some time before we could pull.
Right now the boys have a nice choice of chromed up stout calves and so far everyone is healthy!
Dad says this makes 9 calves on the ground and we should have a 1-2 week break now.
