🌟 Let’s give a round of a-paws to our Boarding Guests of the Month, Brady and Jules! 🌟

Brady and Jules, our dynamic Welsh Terrier duo, are two of our most cherished guests here at Pet Paradise Peachtree City! Brady, a distinguished 9-year-old, and his spirited younger sister, Jules, who is 6, are a rare sight, as Welsh Terriers aren’t too common around here. Brady is a regular in our medium dog playgroup, where he loves showing off his playful and social side. Jules, on the other hand, enjoys her own special one-on-one playtime with Brady and a chaperone, where she can fully shine and get all the attention she deserves. Together, they’re an unstoppable pair, sharing a love for playtime and fun. When they’re not wrestling with each other or chasing toys, you can find them cooling off in the kiddie pools. After their fun in the water, they love to wind down with a nap on the jungle gyms, often snuggling up to our playtime chaperones for extra cozy rest. 🐶💚🦴

Dental care isn't just for humans — it's just as important for our four-legged friends! To help care for their teeth at home, Dr. Carson recommends:

🦷 Developing a regular cleaning routine! Help your pup get used to teeth cleaning by starting slow and keeping it positive! Start in sections, with a little bit of pet friendly toothpaste, and raise their lip if necessary!

🦷 Concentrate first on the teeth that touches your pups cheek - this is where plague and tar accumulates the most! The pups tongue tends to remove most plague on the inner side of their teeth reducing the need to brush those surfaces!

🦷 Always check for tell-tale signs like bad breath, swollen and/ or bleeding gums, difficulty eating, yellow or brown tar deposits on gum line, etc. Your pup may need a professional cleaning (dental) via your veterinarian! Luckily, Dr. Carson and our amazing vet staff are ready to tackle that bad breath! Call to book an appointment today. 🩺🪥

🌟Put your paws in the air for our Boarding Guest of the Month, Shadow!🌟

Shadow is a regular boarder here at Pet Paradise Peachtree City! He is a 2 year old Cane Corso who has been coming to Paradise since February of 2024! Shadow plays in our large group with the other big dogs. On the turf, Shadow brings loads of energy and enthusiasm to the group, especially when he’s wrestling his buddies! He loves chasing his friends around the play yard, napping in the shaded jungle gym tunnels, roughhousing with his lively playmates, and sneaking in a game of tug-of-war with our leashes! As tough as he looks, Shadow is a total softie who adores cuddle time with both his human and canine friends. Whether he’s mid-wrestling match or turned on his back for some belly rubs, Shadow makes every day at Paradise a little brighter. 💙🐾🦴

While Hurricane Debby was making her way through Florida’s northern region, the team at Pet Paradise Jacksonville Airport & Dr. Connolly from NewDay Veterinary Care University teamed up with Florida Urgent Rescue, Inc. - FUR to provide accommodations for 12 shelter pups in Union County to stay until the weather was safe to return. 🌟🧑‍⚕️ VETERINARIAN HIGHLIGHT — Dr. Carino from NewDay Veterinary Care Winter Garden brought her passion for pet healthcare worldwide as she embarked on a mission trip to the Philippines last month. Alongside other veterinarians from across the Philippines, Dr. Carino spayed/neutered over 200 local pets, performed two cystotomies, and administered more than 100 rabies vaccinations across several provinces in the Philippines. 🌟 TEAM MEMBER HIGHLIGHT — Say hello to Gabriel Vasquez, our groomer at Pet Paradise Wesley Chapel who has recently added "Life Saver" to his work experience! While grooming Suri, a frequent day camper, Gabriel discovered a lump that prompted her parents to seek medical attention. Due to his swift intervention, Suri was able to undergo immediate treatment and was spared from potentially losing her entire leg!

Separately, Gabriel also identified two lumps on his Resort Manager’s dog during a grooming session, both of which turned out to be cancerous. Thanks to his vigilance, those lumps were promptly removed by Apollo Beach's NewDay veterinary team.

Thank you, Gabriel, for going above and beyond to not only give our guests 5-star grooming makeovers, but to also make sure they’re healthy and safe! 🐾💗
