Good morning!! And yes I do light up if you can’t see it on the photo 🫣🙄😳. Hey it’s all for the most wonderful cause, Our little hero Jack and Dr. Bears Closet. Our total is 3,150! But the Mom, little Noa and I are going to round it up to 3,300 and add 150 from us in toys for Dr Bear! So our precious little hero Jack gets 3k and Dr Bear still gets 300!!!

Don’t you just love this time of year!! 🎄🎄🎅🎄. We have the most kind, generous friends!! These events could not happen without you!!❤️❤️❤️

Well gotta go! I was sleeping in while the Mom is preparing the entries for the drawing….. I better get in there and help her!!❤️❤️❤️❤️

This year’s event is a bit different. In previous years I would deliver money orders to Children’s National to be distributed by the Social Worker. This year when I was made aware of a tiny little kiddo (just 14 months old), who was from Washington County, our own community, I knew who this years recipient would be ❤️. Even though he is part of our community, he spent most of that young life at Childrens waiting for a new heart. He received a heart transplant in September. His family hopes he will be home by Christmas🙏🙏🙏❤️. Jack is my little hero. ❤️❤️❤️

Meet precious Jack! This little kiddo is my hero❤️ His story is below. He is the recipient this year of my annual Children’s Event. If you would like to donate please follow event link in the comments. ❤️❤️❤️❤️Let’s make this event the best ever❤️

From Jack’s mommy:
Jack, our smiley 14 month old, has had an eventful and unique first year. In February 2024, he began to experience sporadic symptoms that led to a trip to the emergency room. They determined that his heart was enlarged and flew him to Children's National. He was diagnosed with a heart disease called dilated cardiomyopathy, which meant his enlarged heart lost its ability to pump blood effectively. Due to the severity of his heart failure, he was put on a Berlin Heart EXCOR® Pediatric Ventricular Assist Device (VAD) in April. From April until August, the Berlin Heart worked as Jack’s heart. He unfortunately experienced complications, including two strokes and a significant surgery to improve the function of his digestion. However, he finally received the gift of a new heart in August, one week before his first birthday! His progress post-transplant has thankfully been consistent, even though his journey to recovery is just beginning. We hope to be discharged and home before Christmas. We will miss the incredible staff at Children's, but our families, and especially Jack's older brother, can't wait to celebrate the holidays and enjoy the beauty of life together again.

Four hours to donate to event for military families with kiddos at Children’s and be entered into a drawing for one of a kind sculptures. Ends at midnight Dec 10th.

We are at 2,850!!!! Five families as of right now will receive $500 money orders!! And $350 in toys for Dr Bear. You guys are the best!!❤️ We cannot thank you enough. Ten hours left to donate.❤️❤️❤️

If you are interested in being entered into a drawing for Max the Frenchie, Roly Santa or Stay Puft the Bulldog make a $10 donation for one entry and $25 donation gets you three entries. Donations are made through PayPal [email protected]. This account is only used for donations, if money comes in your email name automatically puts you into the drawing (number of times based on amount donated).

The donations will be used to purchase $500 money orders to be given to military families with kiddos at Children’s National Hospital before Christmas. Any overage in $500 increments will be used to purchase toys for Dr Bear’s Closet. These toys are given to kiddos staying at Children’s. ❤️❤️
