We travel to pet sit too! Our references are impeccable. I can not ever remember a time in my life where animals were not part of my family. I believe that we can measure a persons heart by how they treat animals. Lucky Paws Pet & House Sitting came to be because friends and family have always asked us to make sure their fur kids are safe and stress free while they are away. We enjoy all creatures

and we have an easy way with them. We believe they are family and family is everything. We will care for your family members as we would want someone to care for ours. We will come in to your home as many times a day as you want or we will stay in your home if you would prefer that. We are not your average pet sitters. We don't just run in feed, water and walk. We give love and playtime too. We will also water your plants, bring your mail in, turn lights on and off, scoop litter boxes, feed fish and other pets, give meds if needed and Joe can do handyman work as well. We will treat your home with respect too. We can do long term pet sitting or if you don't have any pets we will house sit as well. We are a husband and wife team, often Joe is staying in one home and I in another. And we will travel if the circumstances are right. We are insured and our references are top notch.

Why pay a professional pet sitter you ask when you can get the teenager next door to come in for a few bucks? I hear so many horror stories from people. I have had it happen to me too. Where a friend was supposed to be watching my fur kids and I came home early and all the canned cat food was still stacked on the counter because she just fed dry food and didn't bother to come in and check or change the boxes. Or the time when I paid a friend of a friend and we came home to the kitchen door open because she didn't latch the door. Customers have told me they came home to their pups laying in their own f***s because the pup was left in a crate. Or the teenager that was supposed to come in forgot or as was the case today he was in an accident and no one thought about calling the dog owner and no one went in to care for the dog.These things happen all the time. So I get a panicked dog mom and she needs me to go in without ever meeting the dog and it was a disaster. The pup had locked herself in the bathroom without food or water and she was panicked. So here comes this complete stranger in her house and her people aren't there and she comes at me and bites me. These kinds of things can be avoided if you hire a professional who would have a back up person in place in the case of an emergency. I would have gone in for a free consultation to meet the pup with her people there and then she would have not been so scared of me. I feel terrible for the pup and her "mom" because the dog wants no parts of me and I can't help. So the point here is hire a professional, call references, have the pet sitter come in and meet your fur kids before you go. Ask questions and know that your pet sitter is going to do their very best for your beloved pets.
