Makeover Monday with Wrigley!
It was our first time working with this sweet fella. This almost-1-year-old doodlebug started experiencing fear during the grooming process which resulted in a reactive and nippy pup for the process. We spent 3 hours working slowly with him in a two-on-one setting to build trust with us and the process.
His family is invested in his improvement so we’ll be working with him on a more frequent basis over the next few months to get him used to the routine.
We often tell pet parents that grooming is like going to the dentist—very few, if any, really love the process and everyone has different feelings about it, but with consistency everyone can improve from their baseline.
