Makeover Monday with Wrigley!

It was our first time working with this sweet fella. This almost-1-year-old doodlebug started experiencing fear during the grooming process which resulted in a reactive and nippy pup for the process. We spent 3 hours working slowly with him in a two-on-one setting to build trust with us and the process.

His family is invested in his improvement so we’ll be working with him on a more frequent basis over the next few months to get him used to the routine.

We often tell pet parents that grooming is like going to the dentist—very few, if any, really love the process and everyone has different feelings about it, but with consistency everyone can improve from their baseline.

QAC’s mobile grooming salon is great for anxious pets in need of skilled, compassionate caregivers who will develop a personalized plan for their needs!

Quigley Animal Care specializes in feline grooming. We are proud members of The National Cat Groomers institute. Sage is studying to become a Certified Master Feline Groomer. Their written exams are complete so now they need to prepare for practical exams by grooming more kitties!

It’s Foster Friday and we want you to meet Roxie! She’s in the care of Melissa’s Second Chances undergoing heart worm treatment. She gets regular grooming to address skin and coat issues. Her foster parents keep up with bathing at home, in between her professional grooms, and we’ve seen so much improvement in 2 months! This sweet senior is living her golden years getting the love she always deserved. 🥹
