The Underdog Academy Training pups for obedience, establishing success for life! **Consultations are provided for free within 20 miles from the Underdog Academy’s location.

Consultations that are further than 20 miles are $15 up front, but will go towards any training package if enrolling in the Academy.**

THANK YOU to everyone who donated, called, texted, checked in💖 Lilo—she’s back!!!
After two emergency visits, a full day of hospitalization, and a lot of un-fun tests, Lilo is finally home and on the road to recovery! We don’t have an exact cause, but we suspect she picked up something off the ground while walking in the downtown OP shop area on Sunday. She became so sick she couldn’t keep anything down and refused to eat or drink.
Monday, we took her to Mission Med ER for fluids, hoping she’d improve, but she barely drank and wouldn’t eat. By Tuesday, she was still extremely lethargic, hiding, and acting fearful of food due to nausea. That’s when we rushed to Eagle Animal Hospital (Riverside), where they gave me the scary news that she needed to be hospitalized. But they were amazing! They took such good care of her, kept me updated, and brought her back to life. Leaving her there broke my heart, but she was in the best hands.
I can’t thank the vets, staff, and all of you enough—whether you donated, checked in, called, texted, or just kept us in your thoughts. I feel so blessed to have such wonderful clients and friends who love their animals as much as I love mine. You are the reason I keep going, and I’m so grateful to be a part of your lives and your pups’ lives. Thank you! ❤️

Sometimes being a canine care giver can cause us to be consumed by guilt. We know that’s what makes us good guardians, to care this much. But that doesn’t always help ease the stress.
