It’s only appropriate that The Ole Man is in the American Quarter Horse Hall of Fame. The stallion was named for his Hall of Fame breeder, Frank Vessels Sr., who founded Los Alamitos Race Course, and both his sire and his dam are Hall of Famers. Though he was a very good racehorse, he was even better as a stallion and holds the distinction of being one of the very few sires of Superior champions in racing, performance and halter.
