Join us as we Congratulate our very own Jill! Jill is celebrating her 20th year with Animal Care Clinic! Her friendly face and reassuring voice have become a fixture that we simply can’t do without! Over these past two decades, Jill has held the title of receptionist but most recently holds the title of Clinic Manager. She not only leads us in daily business, but she also manages the employee schedule, is a liaison for many of the companies and vendors we work with, and also organizes all of the fun events we get to experience as a group. While Jill has a strong loyalty and dedication to Animal Care Clinic, her favorite title is that of Mom. Jill truly cares for our clients and their furry family members. We can’t say Thank you enough for these past 20 years and Congratulations again Jill!!!

As we wrap up Veterinary technician Week, we just wanted to say thank you again to our awesome Technician team, Debbie, Laverne, and Adriana! Adriana has been one of our amazing Veterinary Technicians at Animal Care Clinic for over a year now. You will see her here on Saturdays caring for our furry friends. She is a sports fan, and loves to watch the Chiefs, Royals, and K-State. She also likes watching crime shows, working out, and spending time with her family. Adriana is a very detail-oriented technician, and shows great care in everything she does. Her compassion shows in every interaction with her patients, and in communications with their owners. We are grateful to have her on our team! Thank you Adriana!

Laverne has been a dependable Veterinary Technician at Animal Care Clinic for 8 years! She loves silly Dad jokes, knitting, bargain hunting, and traveling by RV with her husband. She exhibits extreme patience, communicates with honesty, and is always willing to jump in to help wherever she is needed. Laverne definitely goes the extra mile for her patients. Everyone knows our Lead Veterinary Technician Debbie! She has been with Animal Care Clinic for 22 years! She loves Disney World, Nascar, and country music. We love her for the genuine care and compassion she has for all of her patients. She is an extremely dedicated technician, excels at client education, and shares her positivity by always having a smile on her face. Thank you Debbie, for all you do here for our clients and staff!

Good morning! We wanted to share this information with all of our clients, as it is an INCREDIBLE new resource for our pets! If your pet has an urgent medical need that should be seen quickly, but our doctors are full on their appointments, you may take them to one of these urgent care facilities for same day treatment. We do our absolute best to try to accommodate all of our patients as urgently as we can, but we are a busy clinic and fill up fast. In order to continue our quality of care here, there are times we may refer your pet elsewhere when they have that urgent need. Veterinary urgent care can help with allergies, diarrhea and vomiting, limping, sores and rashes, ear and eye infections, coughing, etc.These urgent care centers are NOT intended for true life-threatening emergencies. We are thankful these locations are now open and able to help care for our beloved pets! 🐾

Local media has recently been reporting of a "Leptospirosis outbreak". We want to take a moment to let our pet parents know that in our area, we have not been affected by this. Leptospirosis is a bacteria that is excreted through the urine of wild life such as raccoons, deer, skunks, and opossums just to name a few. We do know that the animals are present in our area, but again, we do not have any known cases within our clinic or area. We do vaccinate against Leptospirosis. It is a component in our Distemper/Parvo vaccines. If your pet has had any contact with these creatures and you have any concerns, we are here to help (913)441-0555.
