These sub-zero windchills we've experienced lately can be extremely dangerous for our pets, so Mike joined Kimberly Gill on WDIV Local 4 / ClickOnDetroit to discuss his best winter safety tips!! The most important message is - PLEASE do not leave your dogs outside in this weather!
❄️ If you have a shorter-haired dog or a dog whose belly sits low to the ground a jacket is a great idea to keep them warm❄️
🧊Boots or paw wax are essential to keep all pups paw's protected from the harsh rock salt outside🧊
❄️Limit your pet's outside time to multiple shorter walks instead of a long one, or just going out to go potty❄️
