These snakes are awesome! If you have a Colombian Rainbow Boa, can you share a photo in the comments! We would love to see all of them!

Learn a little bit about these snakes: Colombian Rainbow Boa babies require high humidity, ideally between 60-80%. These snakes are semi-arboreal, so including a branch in their enclosure can be beneficial. Colombian Rainbow Boas exhibit some variation in color intensity throughout the day.

Anerythristic Kenyan Sand Boa 2023 Male M01. Only one Kenyan Sand Boa available at BHB.

Learn a little more about Anerythristic Kenyan Sand Boas below.

"Anerythristic" describes a distinct genetic mutation that leads to the lack of red pigmentation, a trait observed in certain reptile species, including Kenyan Sand Boas. This mutation transforms their usual colors, resulting in a striking blend of black, white, and gray scales instead of the typical red tones.

Known not just for their modest size and gentle demeanor, Kenyan Sand Boas also display intriguing natural behaviors. They are particularly known for their fossorial lifestyle, skillfully burrowing into the ground. This strategic behavior is more than just a way to navigate; it's a clever hunting tactic. By burrowing, they can keep themselves hidden, with only their heads peeking out. This stealthy approach allows them to blend seamlessly with their surroundings, making them adept ambush predators ready to seize unsuspecting prey.

About Us

We hope that your time here will be fun and that you find everything that you are looking for. Our goal is to provide our customers with the highest quality reptiles coupled with service that is second to none. We have been in business since 1989, but my love for animals stems back to my childhood.

Our slogan here at BHB is "Covering the Spectrum" and that's how our collection has been built. This approach has lead us to work with a wide variety of snakes from Pythons, including one of the most diverse Ball Python collections, to Boas as well as a wide variety of Colubrids and other reptiles. We try to maintain a collection that will offer animals for the beginning hobbyist all the way to the requirements of the serious investor. Working with such a diverse group of animals has also allowed us to be very competitive with the pricing of our animals.

We would like to thank all of our customers for their continued support, as well as our fellow breeders for their friendship and advice over the years. This business has been very good to us here at BHB and we look forward to what the future holds. Without you, our customers, none of this would have been possible and we will never lose sight of that.

We hope you enjoy your visit and please come back often as our site will be updated frequently!
