"Heza Riot"
A gelding we raised, ran and sold. He is now in Texas and is just becoming something special. Another perfomance horse Pearl gave us before she passed, a very talented boy with a heart of gold. He showed plenty of talent on the track and is now proving himself in the barrel pen!
We are very excited to watch him progress and we know he is in the best home with someone who loves him very much.
We will post updates on this big boy when we can :)

Here she is, the biggest blessing we could've ever received.
"Platinum N Pearls" who was the Canadian Champion 3-year-old and multiple track record setter. She was a monster, standing at 16.3 hh, she was incredibly talented.
Unfortunately, we lost Pearl two winters ago, it was quite the loss but we have several of her offspring who are carrying on her legacy.

She is the dam to several winners on the track who have moved on to become perfomance horses!
One of her offspring has become a proven jumper. One has become a phenomenal ranch horse and has won a sorting competition. One is a 1D barrel horse in Texas and the youngest is currently in training on the track in Oklahoma.
She is the mother of my barrel mare, Divinne Diva, who is showing immense talent and potential.
Pearl may be gone but she will always hold a special place in our hearts.

Meet "Sunday" the youngest member of our herd! She was born on Super Bowl Sunday and her friendly, playful demeanor has meant the world during this tough time!
She is so in your pocket, it's hard to get pictures of her! I cannot believe how willing and kind she is, I am already picking her feet up at just over a month old.
I adore this filly and am just so excited to watch her grow!

Sunday is by Stel Corona out of Wild California Rose by First Down Dash.

Another one we've raised and ran to go on and become a performance horse! It's amazing that his mother, Pearl, could produce these athletes that could go any direction.
This family has been the biggest blessing and we have been so lucky to have these horses in our lives and now have moved onto others who love and believe in them just as much!

Second Careers

EXPERIMENTAL ROCKET
Sire: TR Dasher Dam: Platinum N Pearls
Sorrel gelding foaled April 19, 2013.

Experimental Rocket had a race record of 3-3-3 (wins, seconds, thirds) from 15 starts with earnings of $13,122 USD. This flashy chromed up gelding was a sweetheart to handle around the barn, dubbed the gentle giant. As a two year old he show potential winning a few trial races but never fast enough to qualify for the finals. His derby year was a bit better with the stretch in distance. His four year old campaign was lackluster and his mind was no longer in the game and he no longer wanted to be a racehorse. After a few months off and he became a project for one the girl’s at the barn where he was stabled. Emma had previous experience with ex-racehorses but at that time didn’t have a horse of her own. She started retraining ‘T’ to get more riding time outside of the lessons she was taking. It was and still is a love-hate relationship. Sometimes he showed so much promise other times his shadow would scare him. Over the course of a few months’ progress started to be made and ‘T’ showed talent. Experimental Rocket is now a full-fledged jumper and Emma was able to purchase him to become her new mount. After lots of work and practice the pair went to Calgary (Rocky Mountain Show Jumping) and competed in the 0.8 meter jumpers, T won champion of his division. Emma has given T lots of confidence that on occasion another girl at their barn has started using him as well. Life has gotten busy Emma says so the shows have been put on the back burner right now but are hopeful the summer will bring on another round.
