I just wanted to come on here & let everyone know that I am temporarily closing for maternity leave! Keep an eye out on my page for updates as to when I will be returning to work! In the meantime, if you need a groomer, I will be more than happy to send you recommendations of other groomers in the area! Thank you so much for understanding! We are now at the 72 hours mark of having this pup. She was reported found to shelters, and posted on multiple pages for lost animals. I have come up with no leads. As much as I would love to keep her, it’s not a possibility right now. We are trying to find a safe and loving home for her.

What we know so far,
*She is amazing with kids and would do well to go to a home with children at least 2 years of age. I have not seen her around kids any younger than that, so I don’t know how she would do.

*She is good with cats, NOT chickens.

*She is very protective of kids. If you have other dogs in the home, she will try and chase them off from the kids, sometimes a little too aggressively. (One reason why she can’t stay with us) she could potentially do well in a home with another dog, if given the proper amount of time and introduction. However, I think she would be best as an only dog.

* She seems to be mostly housebroken. She has had one accident, but is generally good at letting you know she needs to go by whining. You must go outside with her when she goes potty, otherwise, she will just wait by the door for you to let her in.

* we have been working on crate training her while we are gone from the house, and at night. She is doing OK with that.

* she does not appear to have had any kind of training. Though she is definitely trainable. It only took me a few minutes to teach her to sit. She is eager to learn.

*she loves snuggles

* The vet believes her to be about 2 to 3 years old.

She will be free to a good home, but I will require a home visit to determine whether the potential adoptee is a good placement. I do not want her going with anyone that intends to have her as an outside dog. She is a hardcore buddy, and wants to be inside with you. Shout out to my little man, Cooper, for the demonstration. Cooper hates having his toe nails trimmed. The grooming hammock made his nail trimming experience less stressful!
