Hey!! Anyone that competed Thanksgiving in weekend!! I am sorry to report that we have kennel cough in 2 dogs that attended. One of them being mine… I heard a cough early on Saturday, but she was coking herself on a slip lead…..and then not again for hours, so to be cautious I did not complete my splashes on Saturday and kept her home on Sunday….
I assumed that Joker brought it home from the shows, but he has yet to cough.. so guessing someone was at the facility prior to the event and did not bother to let me know that their dog had contracted kennel cough…
Just be aware, and keep an eye on your dogs. It is highly contagious, and I wanted to let everyone know for your dogs safety, and to help prevent it from spreading further…

Sanitization procedures: The organisms causing Canine Cough can live on hard surfaces for 3 to 5 days. I did spray the facility with Rescue Remedy, but according to the information I have found, it wouldn’t be on any surfaces any longer anyways….

Strange, all my text is gone….. The first video is of a dog that has been unwilling and afraid to go into water for almost 3 years…. I told Amy I thought we could get him comfortable in the water……..to just give him another chance. First video in the comment is after approximately a 1/2 hr in the water between the Mal and the Beagle. He is doing amazing.
