Unfortunately Sayuri has had a false pregnancy, not unusual but for us it is. We are frustrated, have a vet check in two weeks and will try again in May when she goes into season again. She had all the signs but then nothing. Let us know if you are still interested.

Our hearts are sad tonight. Neela left us peacefully and quietly today at the old age of 12.5 years. She was full of sass and s***k, but so loving and cuddly. She gave the best smiles. I swear she was part cat with 9 lives, losing an eye and a tooth, having surgery to remove a stick, etc. She even jumped up on the windowsill in the bedroom. She loved to cuddle, especially with Zanakin the cat or my dad. She acted like we couldn't see her hiding behind a tree eating cat turds out on walks, and then pretended to not hear us when we would yell at her for it. She was the fat little snausage (spelled correctly) that graced our home and lives for the last 12 years. One of the original 4 who helped us start on our journey of raising great family dogs. She was the last living house pet who would even remember being together with Miyah, Kuma, and Johan. Now, I can see her greeting them with her smiles and her tail wagging so hard that she folds in half. I'm sure they are so happy to see her. Until we meet at the rainbow bridge, Neela. You will be sorely missed.

Happy Thanksgiving to everyone, hope your day was blessed. Also, we want to acknowledge our 2009 pups who started our journey here, although I don't believe any are alive at this point, the families are still a part of us and we are so thankful for all who have chosen to be with Voyagers Rest as family.

Sayuri, Kuma's daughter, will be coming into season the end of this month. Just putting feelers out to see if anyone would be interested in a Kuma grandpup. Sayuri's personality is a lot like Kuma's.

2009 pup, Dozer, lived to be 13 years old. It's nice to see the pups with owners for so long. Funny thing is that we haven't had a whole lot of contact from the first litter. Then one of my friends had a cousin tell her they got a pup from someone in her area. And sent this picture.

Sayuri at 4 years looks just like her daddy, Kuma, I miss him so much. But she's such a good girl and I love her a lot. She has minimal white so its hard to get a really good picture of her.
