Cleveland County Agriculture & Livestock Exchange Welcome to the Cleveland County Agricultural and Livestock Exchange We strive to make your livestock selling and buying experience as enjoyable as possible.

At Cleveland County Agriculture & Livestock Exchange we want this to be the place to bring your family, and have fun while getting top dollar for your livestock. We will be selling cattle, goats, sheep, and pigs on Tuesdays. We have a small animal (sheep, goat, chickens,etc) sale every other Friday night. Our schedule is posted on the page. We also have the salebarn restaurant on-site to

feed all of our visitors. Come on out and get some really good home cooked food at every sale. At CCALE veterinary services are available on cattle that are bought at CCALE. These services can be done while you are in the sale arena and when you are ready to leave, your cattle should be ready to go with the veterinary services already provided. Come out and give us a try, we will do everything we can to make your livestock buying or selling experience enjoyable. Thank you very much.

The weather is going to dictate the price of cattle this week, not really the market. If you are on the fence as to sell or not this week. I would recommend letting the weather pass and then sale them in a week or 2. Cattle prices are high but if we can't get them to where they need to be they will be cheaper. We want to get the most for everyones cattle we can, so it's hard to say as a market operator but try to keep them until better weather. Thank you, Steven Matthews

We will have a herd of cows from a local farm at our next sale on Tuesday Feb 11th. Here are a few pictures. There is a 5 yr old brahma bull selling with the herd and there was a black bull in the herd also that will not be selling at the sale. Hope to see you all at the sale. It will start at 11 a.m.

We will NOT be having anymore small animal sales until further notice. It has become too hard to find help and we are considering other options at this time, but as of now we will no longer have a small animal sale. Thank you all for your support, it was not an easy decision to make. We will still have cattle sales every Tuesday starting at 11 a.m. and we hope to see you all there. Thank you.

We are in need to a couple truckers that would help haul donated hay from sc to a hay storage facility to hold the hay until the farmers need it this winter. We can help with some of the cost of fuel. Hay would go from saluda sc and orangeburg sc to the hay storage place forest City nc. Thank you all for your help

WNC Regional Livestock Center is in need of shipping containers. They are going to be filled with supplies and dropped in communities where you can't reach them by vehicle. We will publicize anyone that can help us to get shipping containers as a donation or at a cheaper cost. These containers will be able to help people in communities for weeks instead of being air dropped 2-3 days worth of supplies. Thank you very much for the support . Call Steven at 8283088512. If anyone has someone in need of food, water, toiletries, hygiene items, dog or cat food, hay, horse or livestock feed or anything please let me know. We have tons of supplies and 2 helicopters that can deliver to remote areas. We have trucks and trailers if we can get close to people trapped. Please help us to identify where the needs are and we will get supplies delivered. Thank everyone e for their overwhelming response to this storm. We have been delivering from ashe County to the Tennessee line, no area is put of our reach if someone is in need of anything. Please share and spread the word. We will have these fine bovine at the small animal sale this Friday the 13th!! Come on out and see what else we will have to sale. Sale starts at 6pm and all animals have to be in line to unload by 5 pm. Hope to see you all!! Full Gyr bull calf and Miniature zebu bull calf, currently 21 inches should mature to 32-33 inches.

We are having a sale this Tuesday (tomorrow) and we will have a small herd of small cattle, 4H holsteins from Catawba County 4H, and alot of group calves. Here are pictures of the miniature hereford cattle, there will be 4 pairs, 2 heifers, and 2 bulls. There are 8 total 4H holstein calves, so come out and help support our future in the cattle industry. There will be about 125 calves from 3 or 4 farms that will be grouped up. Come on out and help support the 4H kids or buy cattle. Sale starts at 11 a.m. Thank you all for your support.

Crest and Burns high school show calves. Holstein/Angus cross calves sold today 10/3/23 @ Cleveland County Agriculture and Livestock Exchange. Come out and support our youth!!

25 cow herd coming to Cleveland county agriculture and livestock exchange August 8th.

Also on 6/13/23 we will have about 10-15 good black cows for sale from one farm in shelby. These will sell right after the brahma herd. Sale starts at 11 am and don't forget you can bid on www.dvauction.com.

Next Tuesday on 6/13/23 we will have about 35-40 brahma and brahma cross cows and pairs at the salebarn. Most of the cows have small <2 month old calves on their sides and most of the calves are heifers. There are 4 or 5 registered cows in the herd and calves could be registered, but papers were not sent off. The bull is not selling, but he is a darkred/black registered brahma bull bought at the carolina brahma sale 3 years ago. Don't miss this opportunity to get some really gentle brahma cows, most have been at this farm from birth and can be touched or pet.
