This Tuesday we will be selling the Cleveland Cohnty dairy steer project calves. There will be 8 steers and they should be close to 600 lbs each. Come out and support the kids and their calves. The children are our future in the Agriculture industry, so we need to support them as much as we can. These calves will sell around 11:30 a.m.

To all the cattle producers and supporters of CCALE, some of you have seen the listing for CCALE on National Land Realty. There are lots of rumors going around and I want to clear the air. Yes CCALE is listed for sale, but we are still going to be open and doing business. The agent called me and asked if I would be open to selling it and naturally at some price I would sell about any material object. The price he thought we could get is substantially more than I gave for the property in 2015. I was not actively trying to sell it but at the right price you have to listen to offers. I don't know that it will sell and I'm planning on continuing on as normal. My service to the cattle industry is not for sale though. I will make sure IF someone buys the salebarn, it will still be a salebarn. The community and the local cattle industry needs the salebarn there to auction cattle. I will address this further at the cattle sale this Tuesday so there are not rumors going around. If anyone has a direct question call me I'm an open book and have nothing to hide. We have 62 head from 1 farm that are coming to the sale tomorrow. They will make really good brood cows or good heifers to feed. Most are steers but there are a few heifers to choose from. They have had 2 rounds of shots but are straight off the cow.

We have a herd of cow/calf pairs and bred cows from 1 farm. About 30 cows, some with calves. 4H steers are here from Catawba County. Customer appreciation today also, come get a free lunch on us and thank you all for your support. Sale starts at 11 a.m.

Remember to come out and support the Catawba County 4H steer program Tuesday 9/2/25. These kids have worked extremely hard to get these calves in tip top shape. Good opportunity to buy some really good holsteins. Sale starts at 11 a.m.

We will be open Monday and Tuesday Sept 1st & 2nd with normal hours for dropping off cattle. We will also have customer appreciation day with lunch provided for all attendees. Also there will be 20 steers from the Catawba County 4H dairy steer project at the salebarn Tuesday. Come out and support the kids because they are the future for the agriculture industry.
