Hello fur family! We are blessed to be able to let everyone know that Annabelle is doing great! She is home and is back to her old self again except half the size. The vet took 2.5 lbs of infection out. He said it was the size of a grapefruit and should be the size of a pinky finger tip. We want to thank everyone for your love and support and prayers for us and Annabelle during this time of distress. We appreciate you!!

Hi everyone! We just wanted to send out an update on Annabelle. She is still at the vet but was stable enough today to do her surgery. She is currently waking up and may get to come home tomorrow. Thank you everyone for your prayers and support!

Dear friends, fur baby families and followers,



It is with heavy hearts we are sending out this request. We are asking you to please help us help Annabelle Rose. Our sweet Toy Poodle who some of you have met personally. This evening, we rushed Annabelle to the vet after noticing her tummy was very swollen and hard. We knew she had not been herself today and seemed depressed as well as uncomfortable. She did not want to eat even her favorite snacks. You could just look into her eyes and tell she was hurting, though she never made a sound. We just knew it was urgent to get her to see the vet. After examining Annabelle and asking us questions, the vet told us Annabelle was a sick girl and he was glad we brought her in because she would not have survived through the night. Her temp was 105 and she has developed Pyometra. This is a serious life-threatening infection of the uterus that required emergency surgery. Annabelle has what is called “closed” Pyometra. This means that her cervix is closed and the puss from the infection will not be discharged and will continue to build up in her uterus causing her tummy to swell even more and can result in septicemia and uterine rupture. He said she was to be left there to undergo an emergency surgical ovariohysterectomy. (complete removal of the ovaries, oviducts, and uterus) Depending on the severity of the infection, she may need an extended stay at the vet for treatment and monitoring. We love our sweet girl and would be devasted if we lost her. I know you can identify with our feelings and emotions. Especially if you have come close to losing a fur baby or may have lost one to an untimely death. Many of you know, they are more than pets. They become our loyal friends and family members. We are their humans. We know that the cost of this will be great and we do not even know the extent of everything as of right now. So, we are calling out to everyone that feels led to donate you can do it through the gofundme page or through Venmo or cash app to please help us with this unexpected distress.
