Another Dog's Life Changed.

"It's like she is an entirely different dog"

Our friend Freya is a hard working and hard playing dog.
I noticed that Freya would avoid turning to the right. It was very subtle and almost seemed like a preference but after a few tricks to test mobility, it looked more like a potential injury.

Freya's mom agreed to bring her to see Dr Leick who in just a few minutes corrected the alignment issue in her back and neck. All that hard work and play had led to some discomfort. Freya like any smart Australian Shepherd, had been avoiding that pain by not turning right. After the adjustment it was an immediate difference and within a week, Freya was back to being mobile and agile in both directions. No more pain means more fun and points on the field when playing disc.

Dr. Ron Leick will be helping dogs on August 26th. He will be at Roo's Holistic Pet Supplies in Shelbyville, Kentucky, to do VSMT adjustments for dogs and cats. Dr. Leick is a holistic veterinarian with many years of experience with chiropractic services.

You know we like to test new products and bring you the best stuff. This is one of my new top favorite treats for my dogs. Check out these 2lb Knucklebones from NorthWest Naturals. I tested these on my 40lb dogs and they were awesome. Lasted a long while. I would give them 30 mins to chew and then bag it up and put it back in the freezer. Healthy and good for their teeth? Yes, please!

It was soggy at times but we had a lot of fun meeting new people at the Shelbyville Horse Show. So many people dealing with allergies, skin, health and other issues with their dogs or cats. We are proud to be able to provide answers and solutions to our community. We’ve had a number of people visit the store to start the healing process or just to visit and try out some new stuff! Like this young rescue dobie whose mom works with the Bluegrass Doberman Rescue.

Dr Leick made a huge difference for more than a dozen dogs yesterday. There were service dogs, working dogs, sport dogs, show dogs and pets. Many of us saw results immediately. A staff dog, Hattie, got adjusted by Dr Leick and she is a new dog today!! She had been hurting from several vertebrae being jammed. Her hip and sternum were off and all that being out really shut her down last week. We think maybe a collision while playing in the back yard caused it. She had been lying around, seemed sick, and yelped in pain a few times. And in less than 10 mins with Dr Leick, she is back running, playing and jumping!

He will be back at the end of August, keep an eye out for a post with the registration link. Happier pets, one visit at a time!

We have added more spots but over half have filled already.

Well, today is graduation today for students of our basic obedience class. Keep your eyes out for the next one!
