Hello folks.
Here's one of the reasons we've been off grid some what. The other is the ongoing spinal issues I've dealt with over the years. Sure hoping the new upcoming testing can give some insight & potentially a solution on this matter. My heart goes out to all of you that suffer extreme spinal issues.

We have truely been blessed with our 2nd litter this year. TN Sweet T & our Handsome Hondo have given us a beautifully strong litter of 3 female & 3 male puppies. This is Hondo's 1st litter & boy he has shown up & shown out with these pups. They already show his strong features as well as his & Sweet T's long ears! I know we have several people waiting on an email for an application. Please be patient with me as it is so hard to pull myself away from these beauties. I will be screening potential buyers within the next 2 weeks. This takes time so please bare with me.

We microchip every puppy. Please, if you truely love your dogs, all of them, have them microchipped. An AKC brand microchip cost less than $25 for a lifetime of security. You can purchase the chip & have your vet insert if you wish. It is not a subscription service like most companies are. A 1 time fee for a life time of people searching & helping you protect your best friends whether they were just lost or lost a couple of years ago.

SCAMERS: Some of you know we at Davis Branch have had Scammers steel information, images, & videos from this site to SCAM hardworking people. The most resent we know of is going by the name of Chris Davis & possibly other so called family members. Because he is using "Davis" as his name people believe he is part of our kennel. Our kennel consist of 2 people & a bunch of dogs. I am always happy to verify if you are really working with us. Below are images this guy sent to a potential buyer.
The buyer is usually spending a large amount of money for a dream dog. You should be fully satisfied with who you are buying from.

As many of you know, a very close family member has been ill for some time. Today, God has called him home. As we morn our loss we take comfort in knowing he was a good & faithful servant that truely earned his wings. He loved God, his Country & his family. Truely a good man.

We've been busy the last few days with several visitors choosing the puppy that will become new family members in a few short weeks. Most have found it difficult to choose a puppy or maybe they just wanted to stay longer & play with them. Either way, we enjoyed their visit & the puppies were happy to have someone other than myself to chew on & share snuggles with.

How can you not love these little bundles of joy. There's a lot to raising puppies from pre-birth to the point they can be good for someone else to take over but to have all their love now & to see how much they love every minute of life is a privilege. Everything is new & exciting to a puppy. Every day with them inspires me to do my best to make their start in life the best they can possibly have.

Blue, Purple, & Red puppies didn't have their collars on. Maybe you can figure out who they are.

5 weeks old. Busy busy times. Between playing with puppies, desensitizing toes, managing ear cleanings, checking puppy teeth, feeding & cleaning up after these youngsters there isn't much time for anything else. Plan to start a little crate training but that's kinda hard with so many babies to love.

The puppies are growing so fast it's becoming difficult to keep up with them. 4 weeks old on the 22nd now almost 5 weeks old. I will be taking pictures when I can but it's more likely going to be seeing more videos. The puppies in this vedo were almost ready for bed. A full tummy, warm room, & already had been playing for about 30 minutes.

A little slow posting the puppies 3 week old pictures. They are definately walking & picture taking is much more difficult as their curiosity about the world around them is exciting & must be explored.

Puppies are 2 weeks old. Their eyes are open & they're starting to walk. They've started puppy gruel but still love when Loretta's comes to feed them.

As of yesterday evening all emails sent since Jan. 1, 2024 have been answered. If you sent an email & did not get a reply then you need to send another. There were several that said they were "Undeliverable" even after multiple attempts. Also, I have received multiple emails with completed applications. Thank you. I will be checking on the information you have provided. This takes time. Please be patient as this takes time. You will hear back from me.

Folks, I know there are quite a few of you waiting to hear back about the application you submitted or still waiting for me to send you an application. I am very very sorry for the extended delay. We have had a close family member become ill that has resulted in heart surgery. This has pulled me away from the house for several days. Also, Miss Loretta decided she did not want to wait until Feb. to have her puppies & actually had them Jan. 24th. The vet told us that she might have 9 puppies but absolutely no more. Miss. Loretta decide to make a liar of him & had 11 beautiful babies. 😍 Today's plan at Davis Branch is to clean, clean, clean, take some pictures, send emails, & read applications that I already have. Those people that emailed me in earlier this year but have not yet received an email, your request is set by the date you emailed me so everyone's request will still be set from that date. Please understand, there has been great interest in these puppies & there is no guarantee that you will be approved for a puppy or that there will be enough puppies for everyone that are approved for a puppy. We are taking dogs to the vet tomorrow. Some will have yearly check-ups & shots. Breedable females will have a more complete check-up for possible breeding this year. We will also get an x-ray for a possible puppy count on Loretta.

We are very excited to announce our 1st litter of this year is just about ready to make their debut. Soon, we will have little Smokies, blueticks, running around & yapping for attention. We're so proud this past weekend to see both our boys Smokey X & Smokey XI come through the 'T' at the beginning of the UT vs Vandy game. I'm not to proud to say this ol' woman's heart was so full of pride that the tears just flowed for a good amount of time. Love my boys & all of our hounds at Davis Branch. Sending lots of love to all our fans.
