'Twas the night before Christmas and all through the house, all of our goldens were sleeping and quiet as a mouse. 🎅🎁🎄

When you have younger kids, Christmas is such a magical time! Everyone is in bed awaiting Santa's arrival! Tomorrow morning is sure to be an exciting time!

We have a visitor here! We are so excited to have Ann stay with us for a couple of weeks while her family is on vacation! Ann has THE BEST family that loves her so much and we are so grateful to them for taking such good care of her!

She is such a great dog in the house (and while sleeping in our bed last night), but she certainly came alive when I threw some marks for her today. She even returned to heel and delivered to hand. She is such a good girl!

I thought I felt someone watching me. Elsie is such a sweet girl and is never very far from me. ❤️

Look how smart these puppies are! I've so loved watching these Belle and Duke grandpups grow up!

They are now eight weeks old and ready to go to their new families! They are from fully health tested parents and would make the perfect addition to any active family!

I have been so excited to make the announcement our litter plans for 2025! So much research goes into planning a litter and many hours researching pedigrees and health clearances have been done to come up with finding the right stud for Skye's next litter!

I am excited to say that we have chosen HR Thunderstruck's Dynamic Bandit Boy MH WCX DS CGC TKN VHMA FITB (Poncho) from Red Prairie Retrievers to pair with Skye for her Spring 2025 litter. Our SkyeXPoncho litter should make some really nice puppies who would do best as performance prospects (hunt tests, dock diving, agility, rally, etc), hunting companions, or good for active families.

Our Puppy Application is NOW LIVE on our website! We likely won't be conducting any interviews until after the new year, but you may now submit an application to us to be considered for our 2025 litters.

Elsie will be completing her final health testing in January and once she has completed her final health testing, we will be searching for the right stud to pair her with! Keep watching for updates on Elsie!

We are still hopeful that Reba will be able to have another litter at some point. We are working with our reproductive vet on possible options for Reba. We will not be accepting any applications for a possible litter from Reba until we have a confirmed pregnancy. Reba is the BEST girl and I so hope we can have at least one more litter from her!

We can't wait for 2025 and all the plans that we have for our dogs!

Sage is out of our DukeXBelle 2022 litter and is fully health tested. She lives in Idaho with her family and has been a great mom to her puppies!

Sage was bred to Scotch out of Lish Kennels and his reputation speaks for itself! You can read more about Scotch here: https://lishkennels.com/dogs/scotch/

Both Sage and Scotch are fully health tested (hips, elbows, eyes, and heart) and have been genetically tested. There are a few puppies in this litter still looking for their perfect family!

This would be an excellent litter for active families, hunting homes, or looking for a performance prospect (hunt tests, agility, dock diving, etc.)

Our Olive is ten months old already! She is a very sweet girl with the softest coat. Today she had her first OFA Eye Exam and received normal results. She will have her heart and preliminary hip and elbow clearances after her first birthday in February.

It will certainly be a silent night in our Puppy House tonight. All of Skye's puppies are off with their families and our puppy pen is once again empty.

This was such a fun litter and we loved watching the puppies grow and develop over the last eight weeks. I put so much into each litter, and it makes it all worth it seeing our puppy families so excited to pick up their puppies.

We have been working on our 2025 litter plans and will have some announcements about our 2025 litters soon!

Raising puppies is very rewarding, but also exhausting! And now that our Puppy House is once again empty.... I am off to take a nap. 💤

Skye's puppies are adjusting to eating their meals in their crate!

Jeff had the best helper when he was working on brushing in one of our dog blinds tonight. 🤣 Pink Girl had the BEST time being a little wild child and exploring all of the new stuff!

Yellow Girl is ALWAYS the center of attention! Could they be any cuter?

The puppies played outside for a bit then came inside for lunch! They were feeling very spicy and all fell asleep shortly after this!

While the puppies eat, I use my handheld vacuum to clean up their pen. They don't mind it at all and usually just try to play with the vacuum. 🤣

Skye's puppies are 5 weeks old today!

These puppies are just TOO ADORABLE! They are 4.5 weeks old and just having the time of their lives. Today they went for a car ride, had their pen expanded, were introduced to an open crate, had their nails clipped, and have gotten LOTS of loves and snuggles.
