This afternoon, Reba was bred to Volos! Our vet collected Volos then did Reba's TCI right afterwards. Volos gave a nice collection and the TCI procedure went great with Reba! We have an ultrasound scheduled towards the end of April to see if this breeding will result in a litter if puppies!

We are so hopeful to have some RebaXVolos puppies this spring, but only time will tell! Hopefully we will have some exciting news to announce in a month!

More exciting updates!

Reba's last progesterone test showed that she had ovulated! She will be bred to Volos on Monday via TCI. We are so excited for this breeding to happen and hopefully it will result in a pregnancy!

Skye's first progesterone test is also scheduled for Monday! She will be bred to Poncho via TCI when the timing is right (as long as all goes well with shipping).

Skye is in heat!

Skye came into heat yesterday and we are working with our vet to start scheduling Skye's progesterone testing! We should have Skye bred to Poncho sometime in the next two weeks!

Another Reba updated!

Reba had progesterone testing on both Monday and Tuesday. Her test on Tuesday showed her progesterone levels hadn't risen much from the previous day so we will take Reba in for another progesterone test on Thursday.

We will be breeding Reba to Volos sometime next week and should have a good idea when after tomorrow's test.

Reba had her first progesterone test on Friday! The vet reviewed her test results and wants another progesterone test for her on Monday. By doing progesterone testing we will be able to determine when Reba ovulates and will schedule her TCI within a couple days after ovulation. Can't wait to pair her with Volos!

Reba's first progesterone testing is scheduled for Friday! She likely won't be ready to be bred until middle to late next week, but it is important to start progesterone testing early in the cycle to monitor the rise of progesterone. We will continue to monitor Reba's progesterone levels until we see that ovulation has occurred. At that time, we will schedule Reba's TCI appointment. We will post more updates as they happen!

The boys are starting to pay more attention to Skye in the past few days so I wouldn't be surprised if Skye comes into heat in the next week or two.

Reba is in heat! I knew she was close to being in heat the last week and she was definitely in heat when I checked her this afternoon. We will begin coordinating progesterone testing with our vet this week and will likely be breeding Reba sometime next week. In case you're wondering about how Duke is feeling after being told he isn't going to be breeding the girls in heat at our house. He is such a respectful stud, but still definitely aware that our two younger girls are in heat.

Skye and Reba are showing signs of coming into heat soon, but they aren't there yet!

Belle's first time at Barn Hunt practice. She LOVES this game.

Skye's puppies are adjusting to eating their meals in their crate!

Jeff had the best helper when he was working on brushing in one of our dog blinds tonight. 🤣 Pink Girl had the BEST time being a little wild child and exploring all of the new stuff!

Yellow Girl is ALWAYS the center of attention! Could they be any cuter?

The puppies played outside for a bit then came inside for lunch! They were feeling very spicy and all fell asleep shortly after this!

While the puppies eat, I use my handheld vacuum to clean up their pen. They don't mind it at all and usually just try to play with the vacuum. 🤣

Skye's puppies are 5 weeks old today!

These puppies are just TOO ADORABLE! They are 4.5 weeks old and just having the time of their lives. Today they went for a car ride, had their pen expanded, were introduced to an open crate, had their nails clipped, and have gotten LOTS of loves and snuggles.
