It is with a heavy heart that I announce the passing of our beloved stallion Ritz "n" Rebel. He was a two year old World Champion Walking horse, who was purchased by Dr. Joe Alvarez as a five year old. His wife Betty showed him to many blue ribbons in the Pacific Northwest. Ridge Creek Farms acquired him and Ritz became a leading sire at the Farm. I currently ride one of his son's, "Customized by Ritz" as my personal mount as I give riding lessons. His legacy will go on as 3 of his progeny are expected in the next few months. We will miss you Ritz and so will all our brood mares who lived beside you in the pasture.

My dearest Jewell of the South. You were only 3 months old when I bought you in Tennessee. You carried me on the John Wayne ride, Ronny up elk hunting and dozens of students on lessons. Your last students were my precious grand daughters. Rest in Peace dear girl, may you find your best friend Romy to gallop the hills of heaven with.
