🥹 Wow, what a turnout! We're so incredibly grateful to everyone who has come out to support the Kitten Rescue of Mason County garage sale so far today. Our new parking lot is a flurry of activity, all thanks to our magical garage sale gurus, our amazing supporters and Excavating Adam Justice!

🐾 Every purchase you make directly helps us continue our mission of rescuing, caring for, and finding loving homes for the cats and kittens in our community. We couldn't do this without your amazing support.

🤩 Get ready to shop for a great cause! The Kitten Rescue of Mason County's big garage sale is tomorrow, Saturday, September 13, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Every purchase helps us provide life-saving care for local cats and kittens in need.

✋ We have a one-lane road leading into and out of our new parking lot. To keep everyone safe, please use caution and exercise patience as our volunteers help navigate traffic.

😎 While you're out and about, be sure to stop by our Tractor Supply information booth from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. to say hello to our dedicated volunteers and learn more about our mission. We can't wait to see you there!

🫴 Wet food is an excellent way to ensure your feline friends get the hydration and nutrition they need! Cats often don't drink enough water on their own, and a diet of only dry kibble can leave them dehydrated.

💦 Wet food helps increase their daily water intake, which is vital for kidney and urinary tract health.

🖤 Snazzy & Fancy (top) and Amber & AmyMaye (bottom), sure are enjoying their wet food! Making sure your feline family is getting the right nutrients is one of the best ways to show your love and care. 😻

🐾Both of these pairs are still available for adoption. 🐾

Kitten Rescue of Mason County can't wait to share their new parking lot with you for the garage sale on Sept. 13th from 8 am-5pm. 420 State Route 3.
The main Gate will open at 7:30 am. There will be signs and volunteers directing traffic for the initial shoppers.
The new driveway is a ONE LANE ROAD. Exercise caution and courtesy as you enter and exit.
Enter through the main driveway, follow the fenceline behind the cat housing buildings and enter our expansive new parking lot. There are spots right by the new entry ramp for placarded disabled parking.
We ask our early shoppers to use caution when walking to the new entry ramp that will open promptly at 8am since the parking lot is brand new to everyone and we want you ALL safe!
Also, the cashiers and holding area have moved near the entry ramp to accommodate the new entrance. The old parking lot will not be used for the garage sales. There is temporary lattice fencing blocking it off as a reminder.

😞As we reach the tail end of kitten season, we know many of you are still finding kittens (and cats) in need. We hear your frustrations. Our hearts break every time we hear "just one more" but the truth is, we are stretched to our limit.

Every cage is occupied, every foster home is at capacity, and this crisis isn't unique to us. Shelters and rescues everywhere are facing the same overwhelming numbers.

💔 The "just one more" represents far more than just adding a single animal to a facility. It's the moment the abstract crisis of overcrowding becomes a concrete, heartbreaking, and impossible choice for the people on the other end of the line. We know.

However, that doesn't mean we can't help you help them.

💉Need a boost to get started on the right paw? We have kitten booster vaccines (FVRCP *start at 6-8 weeks old, THIS is SO important!), dewormer, and flea medication available for a small donation. Just reach out for an appointment at [email protected]

👩‍⚕️ Spay & Neuter Resources: This is the most important step in preventing future kitten seasons! We have information on low-cost spay/neuter surgeries for both friendly and feral cats.

🌶️ TNR Traps: Once you have applied and received your spay/neuter appointment for a feral cat, we have traps you can borrow. **Please do not trap before you have a confirmed appointment and plan! We cannot house the cats at the rescue.**
