Our previous adopters rock!!! We want to shout out this amazing family for once again opening up their hearts and home to a shelter dog. They have previously adopted seniors that no one else wanted and that sat at the shelter for a while. This year they decided they were open to a younger pup and fell in love. We wish you all a wonderful and magical holiday! Casper really got his Christmas wish❤️❄️☃️

It's with the heaviest of hearts that we break the news that this sweet boy, Herbie, was found deceased. The family is grateful for CTDGRs Melissa and Jill for finding him. His family is absolutely heartbroken. Our thoughts go out to the family.

We have some very sad news about our shelter graduate Enzo. Sadly his family had to say goodbye to this resilient gentle boy. If you follow our page he was found in very bad condition at Indian Wells State Park on memorial day of last year. He was so emaciated and could barely walk. We weren't sure if we could save him, but did our best. We knew he had to be a fighter to make it. We posted that we needed more of a hospice type home because of his condition. We met the most amazing people Melissa, Woody and their pup Riley and it was a perfect fit. This family made sure to get Enzo in the best of health that medicine and love would allow and provided him with the best life. We cannot thank this family enough with staying in touch with us through this journey with Enzo. It takes very special people to love so hard for a short time. We know Enzo will be waiting at the Rainbow Bridge . ♥️🥲
