Thanks to the Secret Santas, each and every resident will get to experience a little magic this Christmas Day! We are completely overwhelmed with the generosity of you, the Paws Community. The 12 Dogs Of Christmas 🎄 Day 1 - Sid 🐶 Oh Sid, you sweet, silly guy. Our last dog to mention and also our final “lifer” at the shelter. He’s had a rough time of it this year with several medical issues, but you can always find him playing with his squeaky toy or ready to take a ride for a hamburger. Be aware, he’s known for using the innocent puppy dog eyes to get what he wants. Thanks to Sid’s Secret Santa, his Christmas wishlist will be fulfilled, however he could use all the extra healing wishes available! 🎁💚❤️

The 12 Dogs Of Christmas 🎄 Day 2 - Ace 🐶 This ol’ guy is one of the resident “lifers” as well. While he can be a bit temperamental at times, hearing Ace’s adorably raspy bark and pitter patter of paws, especially when excited, has become an expectation at the shelter. Even as his body has aged, he remains a playful pup at his core. Thanks to Ace’s Secret Santa, his Christmas wishlist has been fulfilled this year!💚❤️

The 12 Dogs Of Christmas 🎄 Day 3 - Baby Girl 🐶 This little lady is another one of our “lifers” here at the shelter. She may be special needs, but she is resilient. Baby Girl has a unique bark that we’ve come to expect hearing on the daily. She loves to snuggle up in her blanket fort and lives for the sunny days out in the yard with the wind blowing those floppy ears of hers about. Thanks to Baby Girl’s Secret Santa, her Christmas wishlist has been fulfilled this year and she is feeling extra spoiled! 💚❤️

The 12 Dogs Of Christmas 🎄 Day 4 - Benji 🐶 This sweet, little guy has recently become one of our “lifers” here at the shelter. The day feels just a tad bit brighter witnessing Benji happily trot to the yard with a shake of his fluffy tail and flop of his ears. Full of spunk even at an older age, he brings a true warmth to the space. Thanks to Benji’s Secret Santa, his Christmas wishlist has been fulfilled this year with an extra special present….living his best life at Momma & Poppa Hoefing’s. 💚❤️

The 12 Dogs Of Christmas 🎄 Day 5 - Gabbi 🐶 Meet Gabbi, also named for her gift of gab. She is around 6 years old, fully vetted, and spayed. Gabbi is always up for playtime, but prefers a good snuggle in the blankets when she’s tired. She’s not too fond of cats, but she does enjoy a car ride especially if it comes with a stop for a hamburger. Help cross off Gabbi’s most wanted request on her Christmas list this year….a furever home. 🎁💚❤️
