Here at Shepherdsville Animal Hospital, we treat your pets like family because they are! We opened our doors in October 2008, after Dr. Stone had practiced equine/farm animals for 25 years. The staff always includes a few dogs, cats, and birds. Your pet will feel right at home as soon as it walks through our door. We treat, but not limited to, dogs, cats, rabbits, rats, and horses. If you have any questions feel free to call!

ATTN! We will be open for normal business hours Tuesday December 31. We will be closed Wednesday January 1, 2025. We will reopen Thursday January 2, 2025 for normal business hours. Please plan ahead for your medications and contact us before the new year to get anything you may need. Also if you need medication to help with any fireworks or celebrations going on for new year’s please call us on Monday or Tuesday! We hope everyone has a great new year! We have recently had an influx of questions about dentals and their benefits. Most pets will start needing dentals by two or three years of age and need them about once a year. Bad teeth cause significant problems for a pet. Call us to schedule an appointment for a dental or if you are unsure if your pet is due for one you can schedule a screening.
