Byrd's End Farm

Jessica Schaaf is the founder of the farm, and her daughter, Sarah, is actively involved in training and showing the horses as well. Jessica bred, raced, and trained Standardbreds throughout a large part of her life, and has always had a strong attachment to the breed. Byrd's End Farm is named after her faithful gelding- Commander Byrd, who she had for 26 years. Jessica instilled her love of horse

s into her daughter Sarah, who owns one Standardbred (Quartino) whom she rides, and three miniature horses that she trains and shows. Byrd's End Farm does not breed or sell horses. However, we are always happy to provide you with information about horses, or our two respective breeds. We showcase the miniature horse breed at many events throughout the year across Ky, such as Breyerfest, the KY Derby Festival parade, the Georgetown Festival of the Horse Parade, The Secretariat festival, County Fairs, and the KY State Fair. Byrd's End is a registered Kentucky Proud Farm, with our horses as well as out homegrown fruits and vegetables.
