This cutie’s name is Gigi… 💜

She recently came in to see us for dental issues. Here are some before and after pictures of her recent dental cleaning. It is recommended for all pets - especially small dogs and cats to get annual dental cleanings to prevent the build up of thickened plaque, gingival inflammation, and infection. If left untreated, it is usually recommended that diseased teeth are usually extracted. (If you look closely, you can see that Miss Gigi did need some teeth extracted.)

At home dental care is also important! We now offer dental products for sale to assist with this. The Veterinary Oral Health Council is a great resource for recommended products as well!

You also still have time to take advantage of our August dental special - schedule in August and you could get discounted vaccines!! 😃
