🎃 Meet our final featured black kitty for the month, Diablo! 🎃

🍭 We estimate Mr. Diablo to be about 3 years old. He has not been with us for long, but he has become quite a favorite. Diablo will look at you with the most sweet and loving eyes. He is ready for his forever home! We are still learning more about his personality everyday. When he first came in he was not a super happy camper. However, he warmed up to everybody very quickly. He wanted all the cuddles and attention he could get instantly. Looking for a mouser? Look no further, Diablo would be a great fit! He loves to chase and play with everything in sight. From what we have seen here, Diablo would be best fit in a home with no other furry friends. He likes to be the center of attention!

🦆 Hi, my name is Ducky! 🦆

💚 “Yep, yep, yep!” The shelter has estimated me to be a 1 year old Shepherd mix. I have not been at the shelter for very long, but I have fallen in love with everyone I’ve met so far! Meeting new people can be a little scary for me, but I am a brave boy. I warm up pretty quickly to people and once I’m fully warmed up, I like to let out my goofy side! I have started to gain quite a bit of confidence during my stay here. My favorite thing to do is play, zoom and twirl around outside. My favorite game is to play ball, but only if I don’t have to give it back to you!

💚 I’m still a young lad so apparently I still have a lot to learn. I’d really like to get adopted soon so I can learn a few new tricks. Not only that, but I want a best bud to spend the rest of my life with. You have to really like to cuddle because I am a huge cuddle bug. Oh, and you have to love going on walks and giving treats too. That is a “must, must, must!” I have gotten along well with the other dogs here and made a few friends. I may do well in a home with cats, I’m not too sure yet. “Nope, nope, nope!” All around, I think I’m a pretty cool guy, not to brag or anything…

Miss Winnie is asking for donations for the Science Diet GI Biome! She has been suffering from some diarrhea and this has helped her tremendously! We have ran out of the bag we had that was previously donated and her stomach issues have unfortunately come back. Anything helps!

🍁 Meet Genesis! 🍁

🍄 Genesis is our gorgeous 3 year old spotted land seal! Genesis had a very difficult upbringing. She originally came to us extremely malnourished and very untrusting of people. She has shown so much growth since her first day here. She has also gained the healthy amount of weight she needed to be the happy dog she is today. Genesis can be timid but is SUCH a brave girl. Given her history, she is not socialized and is searching for someone to give her that extra love and attention. Not only that, she needs a lot of patience and time to be able to build a loving bond.

🍄 Genesis enjoys spending time outside and would be the best companion to go on adventures with. Just look at that sweet smile of hers, she is so ready for her next journey in life. With the proper introductions, we believe Genesis would do great with other animals in a household. Once this girl is comfortable and understands that life isn’t so scary, she will flourish!

🎃 Introooducing our 3rrrrd black kitty for Octooober! 🎃

Meet Hilde!

👻 We estimate Miss Hilde to be about 9 years old, she is our sweet elderly lady that resides in our cat hallway. She needs to always be in or near our food room. She is an absolute lover of food and snacks so she needs to be close to them. Hilde has such a sweet soul and is desperate to find a home that is just as loving as she is. Not only is she as sweet as pie, but she is easy going as well. When she first came in she was a bit shy, so she might hide when getting used to new surroundings. She’s not a fan of being picked up but she loves to cuddle and snuggle. One of the things that makes Hilde so unique is her meow! She has a deep raspy meow that you can’t help but fall in love with! She will let you know what is on her mind anytime of the day. Especially when she’s begging you for treats. From what we’ve seen here, she could do well in a home with a few other calm animals.

🖤 Meet Celeste 🖤

🌝 Continuing to feature the black cats of October, we just knew this 2 year old beauty had to be next! Celeste is your typical black kitty. She is very observant if you couldn't already tell by her colossal pupils. She loves to watch over everything. She can get stressed out in new and overwhelming environments, but hey, we all do. Celeste likes to take her time meeting new people and would rather build a bond before she puts her whole heart out there. She's a very very playful girl and loves to chase after toys. She would make for a puurfect mouser! From what we've seen here, Celeste would prefer to be the only animal in the household. Because Celeste and overwhelming environments do not mix, a home without young children would be best suited for her.
